It’s packed with great original artwork and does an excellent job breaking down how to draw the designs if you want to practice creating them yourself. I originally bought this book to use the pictures as stencils for tattooing, and it’s been perfect for that purpose. Beyond that, it’s also a great tool to have on hand for showing people possible traditional tattoo options—it’s a real conversation starter with clients. Become an old school tattooer on your own..!!
I’ve been a professional traveling tattooer for 22 years… I did a old school apprenticeship with a old school tattooer.. and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.. unfortunately nowadays it’s almost impossible to find a old school apprenticeship due to (Tattoo schools).. I was NEVER allowed to use a computer in the shop, as a apprentice you have to know how to draw on the spot.. so tattoo flash and tracing became my life and thank goodness for that.. WELL LOOK NO FURTHER..!! With this book you can give yourself a OLD SCHOOL apprenticeship..!! It would’ve been a dream to have had this when I started but I have it now, and I couldn’t be more pleased..!! I purchased mine for my 13 year old daughter who I just started apprenticing, I gave her this book and said this is your bible.. and within a week her flash drawing went from a 4 to a 7 in just a week because of this book.. this should be in every school, library, art class and tattoo shop in the World..!!!

Fun, step by step instructions, cool tattoos
Very cool book. I have a few traditional tattoos and started getting into drawing. So far I've drawn 4 or 5 of the tattoos. I have 0 drawing skills but it provides step by step instructions for each tattoo drawing. Super fun even if youre not a skilled drawer. If you love traditional tattoos and drawing and have 15-20$ to spend can't go wrong with this book

Really cool and alot of fun. Easy enough for beginners with step by step instructions. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Rush job quality
I really wanted to like this book but they will make jumps in progress where previous steps look like the jump should've been broken into a few steps but they just rush you by jumping to way more detailed next step. Also it seems like AI may have been used for parts because literally every single drawing comes with a very brief "symbolic meanings" for each tattoo and they ALL end in "interpretations can vary".. Good parts and some sloppy parts. Overall I was actually disappointed.

Handig als je nieuwe dingen wilt leren tekenen
Een leuke boek waar je echt leert uittekenen, enkel op de pagina van de schorpioen staat wel een drukfout. Je begint bij stap 1 met een paar lijntjes om dan bij stap 2 ineens de volledige schorpioen getekend staat😅
