Works well for intended uses
Gave it 5 stars for portability and adjustability. Easily holds my 185 lbs at the top height, not super stable but would probably need to be much heavier stand to accomplish that. Stable enough to do pull ups and dips - not great or intended for other bodyweight strap exercises that hit it at an angle. For the price, affordability, adjustability, and ability to fold up out if the way I give it 5 stars.

Strong, Stable, Tall and reasonably Portable
Me....5ft 10in tall, 190 pounds. I rarely submit reviews but I'm so happy with my Dobests portable pull up bar. Product arrived intact with no damage and every part accounted for. Its easy to assemble and 2 wrenches are included. At the tallest setting I DO NOT have to bend my legs at all but then again I'm only 5' 10" tall. This is rare for this type of self standing, portable pull up bar. Its very stable but I would not attempt any muscle ups. The Dipping Bars are strong and easily holds my weight. I do wish they were spaced a little closer together to prevent shoulder injuries when doing pushups and dips but I have narrow shoulders. A taller person with wider shoulders should have no problems. One thing I hope Dobests remedies in the future is the actual pullup bar. They are a tiny bit too narrow for me and I have small to medium sized hands. Making them a tad uncomfortable but easily remedied by wearing gloves or somehow increasing the diameter of the bar. Note...this is only a problem when using a close grip when doing pullups. Its no problem when you you use a wider grip because the thicker red handles that come with the unit are very comfortable. Portability is fine but its nothing you can easily break down store in your car's trunk and take to the beach or park like say the Go Beast. I keep mine outside covered with a water proof cover for protection from light rain, morning dew and fog. When heavy rains are forecast I break it down into 2 sections and bring it indoors. I highly recommend this unit. In my humble opinion one of the best unit of its kind.

Recommend, 10/10
Excellent product, highly recommend. It's not 100% stable, but it's as stable as it should be with a 6'3" 235lb man doing pull-ups and dips. Feels safe and secure, and collapses to store.

You get what you pay for
Pull up station as a product works as intended, is very stable, and folds just fine. Changing the height is pretty tricky though which makes storing more difficult. Assembly was annoying and a lot of the parts had scuffs or were bent. You get what you pay for. Overall, I’d recommend this if you’re looking for an affordable, stable pull up bar and you don’t mind a couple scratches and inconveniences.

Outstanding Design
Assembly is a breeze, took all of 30 minutes. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. The fact that the height is adjustable, though, is what sets this apart from the others. First, it makes moving the station from room to room easy enough for one person to do. Second, clearance in our basement is 82 inches exactly, so one-size-fits-all stations that are close to or at that height are a no go. (Do I really want to order, receive, unpack and assemble a station with the hope that it might fit, only to find out after all that work that it doesn't?) To my delight, I was able to set 81 1/2 inches as the height of the top of the frame, and this allows me (I'm 5' 9" with long arms) to keep my legs locked straight when doing pullups, which is proper form. The dip station is set at the perfect width, and its height is also adjustable, which makes it great for inverted rows and angled push-ups, as well as leg/knee raises. Sturdy but lightweight--no wobble, no concern the thing might come apart, and no problem folding it up and leaning against a wall when not in use. If you want to get serious about mastering your bodyweight (you can't call yourself strong until you can do pullups) then get this. Also, the packaging it came in was surprisingly compact, so getting it inside and up or down stairs shouldn't be a problem for the average person. Seriously, order this; you won't be disappointed.

Met all my expectations, a bit awkward to fold/move around...
For the price and quality I am very happy with this purchase. I saw some (few) videos complaining about squeaky noises and lose joints, but I believe it was simply a need to tighten and assemble everything correctly as mine is virtually silent under loaded use. To that note, as others have expressed the instructions aren't the most clear, but are absolutely decipherable, just take your time to read. This is not the "buy once cry once" professional grade gym equipment bar, if you want that get a full squat rack, but I'm a renter in a small space and needed a portable home station to regularly perform my rehabilitative exercises. I have no doubt about this device supporting my 6ft 160lb frame for the exercises it was designed for and considering indoor use should last "forever". At 6ft tall I can reach up and grip the bar in it's highest position with my arms fully extended and my feet flat on the floor, so a slight bend in my knee is necessary during pull-up maneuvers/hang, but you're hard pressed to find a portable station much taller and I don't find it problematic at all. The unit is a bit large to be truly "portable", but the large size is both a blessing and a curse. It's not super easy to to quickly fold up, and won't stash in any closet in my small rental, but it is light weight (50lbs?) and I can make it go away to a back room when I don't want it out/in the way/in the main area, otherwise it's staying up. I did take another users recommendation removing the crappy plastic handle grips and taped the bars with cheap bicycle handlebar tape which is a massive upgrade to the diameter of both the pull up and dip bars (differing diameters) Otherwise I found the pull-up bars a bit thin in the hand, not thin as in weak, just hard on the fingers, but the bike tape corrected for this. I also corked the bar ends as a nice finish, a habit from bicycling days. Champagne corks perfectly fit the dip handles and thicker typical cork sizes filled the pull up bar ends (I had a collection). If you already feel like this design might meet your needs/budget I wouldn't hesitate, just measure your space first to be certain you can both open and store it, and definitely consider the handlebar tape upgrade.

The perfect multi-functional, portable pull up station
Anyone who works out somewhere besides a gym knows the most difficult body part to hit is back. There’s never anywhere to do pull ups without risking breaking a door’s molding. I work in the oilfield and have an adjustable bench, some adjustable 90 lb dumbbells, and an EZ-curl bar with weights. You can hit a lot of exercises with just that, but the gaping hole in the routine is nowhere to do back. This station is PERFECT. The station is soo stable. I’m a 180 lb man and I can do explosive pull ups and this piece of equipment doesn’t budge. I am able to do hanging crunches, it just helps if you have something stabilizing your back like a tight rope across the frame. This station is not extremely heavy, but it’s high quality, sturdy. If it were lighter weight, I might question its integrity. It’s the perfect weight for me as I can easily put it in the bed of my truck and fold it up every 2 weeks when I go home. The value for the money….I can’t say enough about it. I’ve bought pull up bar set ups that require a door with strong molding that are as expensive as this entire station. It is probably the best bang for buck of all the gym equipment I have, and it solves a problem that seemed unsolvable. The dip handles are just an added bonus. Doing dips outside of a gym has always been another issue that this product solves. I had just given up on dips because buying equipment just to do dips is not a good use of truck bed space.

I Mostly Recommend - But - Not 2mm Thick Metal - False Advertising
Overall, this is a great product. It's strong, stable, and more or less portable. The instructions are clear enough, and the assembly was mostly straightforward. Here are the reasons for docking two stars: 1. The advertising on the page claims that the metal is 2mm thick, specifically contrasting this with 1.5mm inferior products. This is false. It's hard to see in the photo, but the main supports are not 2mm thick. I checked this because I specifically paid the extra $30 or so for this product over identical alternatives, because of this claim. 2. There is some rust on the interior of some parts. It seems like it'll be fine, but receiving a rusted product is still unpleasant. 3. While some of the parts were separated with foam, others were simply put next to each other, resulting in scratches. Not a big deal, but a disappointing realization nonetheless. Is this a great product? Yes. But, find the identical item at other sellers, because the same thing can be purchased for about 25% cheaper, without false 2mm claims.
