We needed a new power cord for our light pole used on our recumbent trikes, and this was what was recommended by the maker of my light pole. I plugged it in and everything worked like a charm. The three-pack gives me a couple of spares for when the new one goes out in a year or two. Rust is a real thing in Corpus Christi Texas, and killed the original cable.

My wife has a lighted mirror that was consuming batteries at an unsustainable rate. By coincidence she upgraded a nearby outlet, and it had a few spare USB charging ports on it. I discovered the mirror had a standard barrel socket (marked 5V, center positive) that could be used instead of batteries, so I hacked up a standard USB cable and spliced on a barrel jack. It worked, but it was ugly. It hadn't occurred to me that USB-to-barrel-jack cable was a product, but I stumbled upon them here on Amazon. I chose these because white blends better with the light color wall. They're longer than we need, but I found a way to tuck the excess out of the way. I'll likely find a use for the two extra cords someday, but if I don't, the price is easily justified by not constantly have to replace the batteries.

My portable mirror with lights used 4 AA batteries and I never had the power cable. It consumed the batteries too quickly and I was searching everywhere to find the correct power cord. I searched and searched on the internet. Didn't know the model number of my mirror so I googled 'travel collapsible mirror with lights' images and found mine that had the information about the power cable. Immediately, I went onto Amazon, typed in the information, found these 3 cables, read the reviews and noticed someone mention using it for a mirror with lights. I ordered them immediately and as soon as I received the package and tried one, my mirror worked perfectly bright! I was so happy...finally don't need to replace the batteries every week.

Some of the smaller solar panels I use have USB ports so this type of adapter would be very beneficial. I tried the first cable with a panel which I knew would work. However, the device to which I connected the other end of the cable had just arrived from Amazon. When nothing happened, I plugged the new device into its AC power supply and it began to charge. I then took the device outside again and used the second cable. Nothing happened. I tried a different cable in the same panel and plugged a different device into it. Charging began so it wasn't the solar panel. I tried the third - and last - cable and got nothing. Finally, I plugged the device into an existing plug (the DC end) from another panel. It began to charge. After all of that trial and error, the only things that did not work were the cables in this package. I'd give the item zero stars if I could just for wasting my time. Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS.
