This regulator was very easy to install with clear instructions and fit perfectly as a direct replacement for the original unit. Stick with OEM parts! I purchased a regulator at an RV Outlet/Store and they were not sure if this would be a suitable replacement!? I replaced the unit and nothing worked at all. The old regulator was a High Volume item and the new was just junk!! I waited a couple of days for the specified part number regulator. I also purchased a couple of stainless steel branded lines with gauges attached at ends. Everything works like a champ and I couldn't be happier since Winter is just about the corner! Installed new regulator on my 2021 Lance 2465 on 4/18/2025, RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE. Original equipment for the Lance. except I changed out the rubber hoses for the following stainless braided hoses: (1) LONGADS 15 inch (Packs of 2) RV Propane Hoses with Gauge, Stainless Steel Braided Camper Tank Hoses). Easy install. Purchased the following for the install to check for leaks. (1) (Natural Gas Detector, TopTes PT177 Gas Leak Detector with Audible & Visual Alarm, Portable Gas Sniffer to Locate Combustible Leak Sources Like Methane, Propane for Home (Includes Battery x2)-Orange) EASY TO INSTALL AND VERIFY THAT THERE WERE NO LEAKS. RV TAVEL TRAILER BACK IN ACTION WITH NEW LP GAS REGULATOR AND HOSES.

Installation was easy. Unfortunately, that's where the good part stops. I have had 2 of these go bad about 2 years apart. I installed my 3rd one yesterday, and it didn't work. Leaked a lot right out of the package. I'll never buy another one of these. It's too bad, because it looks like a good product, and it is what came with my camper.

This is a quality made item, not some cheap knockoff and the original brand that came with my Grand Design 5th wheel. Though our camper is 7 yrs old w/gentle use I was surprised the valve unit started to leak so soon but I'm sure movement from travel and different climates can cause some premature fault. Do not bother trying the soap leak test on these, there's too many sneaky areas these leak from that you can't detect therefore spend $15 on a gas detector which I realized everyone should have that uses any sort of gas, especially on a camper that is vulnerable. The detector immediately confirmed the leak in the valve and not the hoses or a connection. Fyi, the smaller red valves also tend to leak prematurely so be sure to routinely ck w/the detector that has sound.
