Intex TY0497 Giant Inflatable Watermelon Beach Ball Toy, 42 Inch

I brought this a few weeks ago for the kids easter tea party and they loved it. Along with around 10 smaller beahc balls this watermelon is huge. It took a while to blow up without a pump and after almost passing out I was pleased with the size. The kids were thrilled when it got brought out with all the small ones they had a great time. It is HUGE, we are lucky we have a very large garden and being thrown, kicked and jumped upon by lots of little toddlers it withstood all the battering, infact weeks later it lives now in the garage (still fully blown up) and they get it out on the nice days.I would highly recommend and happily purchase agin.

The ball is sturdy - it has gotten a few days of rough treatment from the kids but hasn't ripped so far. I'm impressed.

Easily inflated by lung, and very sturdy - can easily take the weight of heavy adults jumping into a swimming pool with arms wrapped across it! Very light so it flies like a feather, and easily packed into holiday luggage... great!

I bought two of these for a large gathering and they survived fairly vigorous and continuous play from several under 5s, the design delighted them and they withstood the kids jumping on them and rolling off etc. Very pleased and reassured as had concerns given how cheap they were compared to ones I’d seen in shops. Brilliant!

Don't be fooled by the photo on the description: The actual print is very very realistic. I bought this to have some playtime with my dog in the park. I am aware that this is not its primary purpose and I knew that it wouldn't last long. But I am going to buy it again for it was absolute fun, best time ever during this whole isolation time we are all in. Strongly recommended.

You can buy beach balls much cheaper than this. I paid more for a higher quality ball from a trusted manufacturer (Intex). The balls are made of the usual flimsy beach ball material as you would expect. They looked great when inflated. But unfortunately one ball lasted no more than 2 minutes. A simple game of trying to keep the ball in the air on an open grass field - nothing sharp for miles around - and within 2 minutes 2 splits opened up. Very poor show Intex. Clearly not fit for purpose.

Good design and blew up easily but take care as ours blew away immediately into the sea.

Der Ball wurde als Deko für eine Beach Party gekauft. Anfangs relativ unbeachtet bekam er im Lauf des Abends immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit. Er wurde getreten, geschubst, geworfen und manchmal auch als Sitzgelegenheit genutzt. Später tollten drei junge Frauen mit dem Ball herum und gingen nicht gerade zimperlich mit ihm um. Sie entdeckten schließlich den Kompressor neben der Garage, mit dem vor der Party die ganzen Sachen aufgeblasen wurden. Sie pumpten den Ball damit sehr fest auf und hüpften auf ihm herum. Das war dann doch etwas viel für das arme Ding und er platzte mit einem dumpfen Plopp. Jedenfalls ist er optisch ein Hingucker und hält auch viel aus, aber man sollte ihn nicht knallhart aufblasen.
