The Noble Collection Minecraft Chess Set

This chess set is fantastic and definitely deserves 5 stars! I bought it for my 13-year-old son who is a huge fan of both chess and Minecraft, and it was a huge hit. The pieces are well-made and the detail in the Minecraft character sculpts is excellent. They are easy to distinguish on the board, making the game playable, not just a display piece. The size of the pieces is substantial, which is great for handling. The overall quality is very good. It looks durable and feels like it will hold up well to regular play. This set is a brilliant way to encourage younger fans (especially teens) to play chess—it adds a fun, familiar element to a classic game. If you have a child who loves Minecraft and enjoys strategy games, this is an absolute must-buy. Highly recommended as a gift!

Coolest chess set with easy assembly. The price is perfect for a kid and adult alike. We put it away, assemble or just leave it on the dining room table. Good quality and design. We are all happy I bought this for us

We first saw this set at the Minecraft experience in London for £60 (=$79). So I told my daughter I’ll just order it online, this way it’s cheaper and we don’t have to pack it in our luggage. I was worried about the price and quality. But surprisingly, it’s actually really nice. I was worried the board would be hard cardboard, but it’s all hard plastic. The board is large and the figures look well-made. My girls are having a great time playing with it right now. Totally worth it for any Minecraft/chess fan.

Beautiful set! I do wish the board was solid and not in parts because once you set it up you can’t really move it anywhere mid-game. But I guess the box would have to be huge if it was one piece. The quality of the pieces is great! Wish the pieces were magnetic to the board too. But overall great set and my boys play it almost daily! Price is a little steep but Minecraft is super popular so I get it. Worth it!

My nephews are obsessed with two things: Chess and Minecraft. Obviously they're nerds, okay? This set is heavy, sturdy, and really cool looking. For the most part, no complaints from those who recognize minecraft characters, but a bit of feedback from an elderly boomer man who plays chess with his grandsons: Because the characters chosen for each color (Regular and Nether) were not identical, it was hard for him to tell which was which on his opponents side, so he had no way of knowing if his grandsons were moving pawns or queens or bishops incorrectly. If you're a Minecraft fan and can tell the difference between characters, this is PERFECT. If you are my boomer stepdad, then you may wanna skip it.
