Mini USB Power Cable-11.5 ft

This is a quality charging cable and it has worked flawlessly ever since I installed it in the car. I routed this cable from the cigarette lighter in the front seat of my SUV to the tailgate window to power a dash cam that is pointed out the rear window. With 15 feet of cable, I had plenty of cord available to route it through all the nooks and crannies of my car and then tuck the cord behind the seats and the interior pieces so it was out of sight. My ultimate goal was to record events in front and in back of my car, but looking at the price of dual camera dash cams I quickly realized the cost ($185) was out of my budget. Instead, I bought two inexpensive dash cams---one mounted to the windshield facing forward and a second mounted to the tailgate window to record events behind me. This 15-foot cord powers the rear dash cam with ease from the front cigarette lighter. Considering what I spent for two inexpensive dash cams and the 15-foot charging cable (total $68), I saved well over $100 compared to the price of a dual camera dash cam.

It works well with my dash cam, in that it provides only power and does not trigger the dash cam into any data transfer mode. I can't comment on its longevity yet as I have just used it for 2 weeks. The only thing to be mindful of is its length. I used it on a Mazda 3 and it almost doesn't reach the USB port. I wish it is 6 inches longer. But I managed to get it to work at the end by moving the camera 2 inches to the right. I can't take any star off from the manufacturer as the length is clearly published and I knew that before the purchase.

This cable is perfect for installing a dash cam, when you don’t want a wire hanging down to the 12v outlet. I’ve used this to hide the cable around the windshield and into the dash. I’ve powered it with a 12v usb converter and also from the usb port on the back of an aftermarket radio.

Powers dash cam! Purchased to replace cigarette charger in new car that doesn’t have cigarette outlet. This is the second replacement charger I tried. The first was rated for data transfer + power supply, but didn’t carry enough current to power the camera. This one does.

I had purchased a usb/power charger for my dash cam in a local store,but the cable was far to short to meet my needs - so looked on Amazon, found this product and replaced the original and everything is working just fine. Product is good and met my needs - 4star rated

I ordered this cable after my dashcam power cable broke down. Was unsure what to expect as some of the reviews said it didn't work for them. All good for my dashcam that I also got on Amazon, I forget the brand but it's a no name brand from China. Ordered the cable on Friday night and got it on Sunday. Works perfectly and is long enough to reach from behind the back seats to all the way beneath rearview mirror (would fit even longer if needed). Price is also great.

The Cable is long enough at 11.5 ft. However, I didn't pay attention to the angle of the connector when purchasing, so it's not perfectly suited for my dash cam. Still, with some adjustments, it can be secured well.
