Motionless in White Aren't Just a Band, They're a Way of Life. Since 2005 the Pennsylvanian Quintet Have Cultivated a Hardcore Following Via Their Aggressive Music and Dark Imagery, and That Buzz Is Set to Reach Fever's Pitch with the Release of Their Third Full-Length Reincarnate. Fronted By Malevolent Mastermind Chris Motionless, Motionless in White Are Back with Their Strongest Collection of Songs Yet, Including the Massive-Sounding Title Track, a Call to Arms to the Masses to Join Their Legion of Fans. Reincarnate Builds on the Impressive Foundation of Past Albums Creatures (2010) and Infamous (2012), Blending Melody and Audio Brutality and Channeling Their Metal, Punk, Industrial and Rock Influences to Emerge with a Sound That Is Quintessentially Motionless. Review: Solid record. Solid pressing. Good buy. - Music: this is a metal record through and through. brutal riffs mixed with chaotic drumming create a unique experience. The record does attempt to depart from the traditional metal template with songs like wasp and the final dicvtim, it’s up to you if it workes, though I like it. Vinyl: the record has quite a bit of residue on it, but it does not affect play. Records sounds just like cd until the last few tracks due to IGD, an audiophile turntable Likly won’t have this issue. It is worth noting, too, that my record advertised itself on the packaging as a red and black splatter when in fact the record was plain black. Review: Best band I've heard in awhile! - I can't believe it took me this long to find out about this group - they're amazing! Different CDs (and songs within CDs) sound like different groups have influenced them, but some of the groups that they can sound like include: Breaking Benjamin (heavier version), Marilyn Manson, Atreyu, and Underoath. Their earlier CDs sound more like the latter 2 on that list, while the 4 newer albums have a wide mixture on influences. They're heavy, but very good. Vocals vary from melodic to screaming, even within songs, but very well done. I'd definitely recommend!

A Full Spectrum
Versatile. That's the first word that comes to my mind when I think of Motionless In White. This album is the best example of exactly that. With Infamous, the electronic/Manson side of the band started to pop out more so I had expected them to go even further in that direction with this album. I really wouldn't have been too surprised if they had gone 100% in that direction. They definitely lean that way a lot more on this album than any album in the past but they still kept their original metalcore roots, along with some completely new influences. It's like a roller coaster ride. It starts out with a very straight forward, industrial, and Manson-esque song that doesn't really change pace/tempo and quickly changes it up on the next song with parts that go from electronic intro to upbeat industrial to melodic metalcore and so on. Some of the album reminds me of some early Bleeding Through songs, as far as the diversity within just one song, and the electronic parts are just as diverse also. They essentially go through almost every sub-genre of both industrial metal and metalcore without sounding schizophrenic and/or disorganized. There's a few guest vocalists which all work well for their songs but Chris Motionless is pretty much a guest vocalist to himself. I remember years ago when vocalists finally started mastering being able to scream and sing well altogether (like Killswitch Engage) but Chris can change his scream sound and his singing vocals in a way that leaves no portion feeling lacking or 'the weakest link' in any way. The instrumental section of the band does as good of a job, as well. The main reason that I gave this album 5 stars is the fact that I've never heard so many sub-genres within a single album, outside of the prog arena. I hope that MIW can keep the diversity going on albums to come.

Thick and bold
Beautiful vinyl record and the sound was amazing! I love MIW and the record was great. Very mesmerizing to look at and it’s nice and thick which is great compared to my vinyls from the 1950s.

Excellent
This record was listed at a good price and came quickly. It was a limited release version, which was awesome and the sound quality was great. The whole album is good from start to finish

Great Album!!
Of the three MIW albums I own(Creatures, Infamous), this one is my favourite. I don't listen to Metalcore, so kudos to them for making music that holds my interest. Reincarnate has a good mix of clean vs. screamed vocals, and stylistically builds off of Infamous. Many of the songs have taken a darker(dare I say more industrial/EBM?) tone. Reminiscent of Korn and Manson. What more can I say? I like it...

Amazing!
I started out not liking this band very much, I'm not a huge fan of screaming. But now I can't stop listening to this CD. Worth every cent.

Turned out to be limited 1,500 pressing
This happens to be my favourite Motionless in White album along with Graveyard Shift. I was astonished at the price as it's below half the cost of normal vinyls. To my surprise , it was the limited edition blood infused vinyl, limited to 1,500. Very pleased for this purchase.
