I just completed a major renovation of my home and needed a replacement barn door glide. I surfed the internet.....Amazon, for the perfect piece of hardware to compliment my door and found this product. They had me at family owned, which translates in my mind to quality and hopefully something unique that I can use in my home. I wasn’t disappointed! This product is over engineered and feels like it would be perfect in a industrial loft at some downtown high rise. I love the easy install with out drilling into my slate tile! The contractor actually installed one of the old glides i already had for the door and that was drilled into my tile before I had a chance to let him know I wanted both glides replaced with the new hardware from Island Hardware. The door actually ended up looking great! And the new glide offsets the old hardware and really adds the look I was seeking. I’m very impressed with this product and love the final outcome!

this is a great item for anyone needing to keep a sliding door on track. I purchased one for my RV, it worked so well i bought another one of a storage area under the stairs with sliding door access from Garage.

The product works very well. I especially appreciate the flexibility in terms of the type and positioning of rollers. It makes it very adaptable to your particular application. When my initial package came, it was missing a few plastic rollers and nuts for the second roller haft. I mentioned it in my comment, and someone from Island Hardware contacted me immediately about getting it right. They ended up shipping out a second package free of charge to me, and ensure it had all of the pieces. Mistakes happen at all companies, but when someone works that hard to fix it, they have my business going forward.

I just redid two barn doors on outbuildings, and ended up using a total of three guides (one door was pretty wide) The hardware is good quality, they are finished well, and I think they will stand up well even to outdoor use. The multiple configurations makes them more widely compatible, which is nice.

Fixed the problem with a sliding barn door closet. The roller makes all of the difference in a smooth open and close. Before there was just a floor bumper which marred the door. I was afraid it would be too large and stick out from the door and be a problem. It really isn't noticeable, and works well, glad I installed it!

Door slide is top quality, made from really heavy gauge steel. The outer wheel is very well made and can withstand a knock or two. I had to trim the end nearest the wall to get the bracket close but was easily done. Also like that the bolts do not protrude through the bottom. Great product overall, very configurable with great deliver and follow up costumer service! I don't often write review, but this is great work all day long. Thanks!
