Rawlplug are a good quality product for all general use masonry fixings, away better than any of the cheaper alternatives.

Little bigger then what I wanted. They looked samll on the Picture My fault. Decent quality. Had to return not fit for my project

They look a little short, but they seem to work well -every time. With these blue ones I use an 8mm masonry drill and 5mm screws. A small hammer taps them nicely into the hole, flush with the plaster. That combination seems to hold up anything in my house. I don't like using fixings that are dainty and only just strong enough for the job.
