Fun and simple activity ! Great for travel too!!
I like to engage with my grandchildren. I'm always looking for something that will allow me to interact with them in an easy way. I don’t like a lot of steps, or a toy with a hundred pieces. Give me something simple but FUN! Seek and find books are a go to for our family. A book like this has me on the couch sitting close to my grandkids and giggling away. They like to take turns, or sometimes we see who can find the item first. Either way we’re enjoying it. I would say this book is not for children under 3 yrs old because the pictures have a lot of detail. My 4 yr old grandson can find many items on the list by himself, I have to help him with some items. It’s a good confidence builder for him. It’s great busy work for travel. You would think I bought these for my grandchildren but nope, I bought these for the our car, I use them when I am waiting for my spouse to run into a store. They are fun search & finds. My husband uses them too, when he is waiting on me…..

Too SCARY for Some Kids
This book is fine...BUT...a Warning to Parents of Sensory or Sensitive Kids. The first dozen or so pages are filled with fun and interesting pictures busy and filled with people, animals, and things that your child might see everyday. Some is wacky, of course, but that goes with this type of book. The next 30+ pages are filled with pictures of "scary stuff" that sent my Sensory Kid running in to tell me to get rid of the book. He had nightmares after looking at this book one time, and this is by far NOT our first "find the picture book". Ghosts, vampires, skulls, monsters, mummies, and not just drawn as kids in Halloween costumes...witches, goblins, ogres, bats, zombies and demons(complete with horns and tails) abound. Frankenstein makes an appearance, as does an executioner and an entire page of spiderwebs with hidden skull picture. Complete with a genie and a haunted castle with moat patrolled by a sea monster. If your child loves Halloween and all things Spooky, then this is your book! However, if you have one on the Sensitive Side, you might want to pick something else like the Puzzle series books, which my kid loves.

Really fun and challenging
My son and I love doing this together. It’s actually challenging but not impossible. Lots of pages and amount of items to find. Highly recommend
