I am so happy I purchased this! I bought this to use as a cat litter box... My cat is fully deaf, and is very much an indoor cat but she will venture outside to explore and go to the toilet, unfortunately for me but very fortunate for my neighbours she would always toilet in my back garden under the kitchen window... It wasn't pleasent and picking up cat poo using dog poo bags is not great! Plus the sight of it would just make my garden look uncared for (which is not the case) I racked my brains with ideas on how I could either stop my cat from toileting there or somehow make it look cleaner? I tried an ordinary litter box for two days.. Ofcourse silly idea.. Its not water proof and looked ridiculous so I typed in on amazon 'outdoor cat box' and this came up... I clicked on it straight away, saw the price and said wow, read the reviews and purchased it immediately! Doubt did creep in after I'd made the purchase, asking myself if it would actually be suitable for use as a cat litter box.. I even asked the question to the Amazon buyers of this product all but one said no! But I was determined to make it work! When it arrived I put it together within 10 minutes, very easy, I was so happy with it, decent size, looks lovely and is pretty solid. After putting some artifical grass down under my kitchen window to make the area look more pleasent.. I put this down on it, lifted the top up and lined it with puppy pads, and put a lot of wood based cat litter in it, left the ramp open, put some plants either side of it to make it look prettier and awaited for my cat to investigate... She took to it straight away 😁 and it has now been 3 weeks since I purchased this, I go out every morning and clean out the dirty bits using a poop scoop, and once a week I clean it out completely (scoop everything out into a bag, roll up the pads and bin them, then disinfect it all) the puppy pads do an amazing job at protecting the wood underneath, it's bone dry, and is still like new, we've had some really heavy downpours and it's remained dry even with the ramp/door left open all the time! I'm really happy, and my cat is happy. For the price of this too, I'd happily repurchase this once every year if I had too, its the same price as a decent cat litter box anyway! If you have the same idea as me, go for it, you won't be disappointed!

My pussy cats love their little den & its a perfect size for an adult cat. The lid comes off easily so its was easy to put some bedding in for them to sleep on & its very easy to keep clean due to this. When its raining or very hot they have both made use of their little cat house for shelter. The only criticism is that, it was a little difficult to work out which way round the slanted sides went, as there was no indication on the instructions. It would have helped to have clearer instructions or the sides labelled in some way but I worked it out eventually. Other than that, it was relatively easy to put up & overall its very sturdy & looks great. Would recommend 100% as an outdoor den for cats!

I love that you can lift the top up for easy access. Good protection on top so nice and waterproof. Like that house can be closed up. Have put some soft bedding inside so comfortable for the cats.

Have one of these in the plain wood which I bought from a local shop years ago, still sturdy and used daily. I ordered a blue one for my boy pig and it arrived in good time, no pieces missing and easy to assemble. Pig loves it. I wanted to order a pink one for my girl pigs but it was out of stock so I ordered another plain wood one. Great delivery. After checking no pieces were missing and they were all intact, I decided to paint it with some chalk paint I had before assembling. Painting took a few hours but it's turned out great, looks just like the product photo. Came with extra screws which was handy as I dropped one when putting it together and it bounced into the pond! Fixtures were different for this plain wood box compared to the coloured one, featuring thicker longer screws with nuts that attach on the box interior (a bit fiddly !) as opposed to regular screws. Also the floor was one solid piece for the coloured box which was harder to insert. The floor for the plain wood box is in two pieces which inserted much easier, but its slightly slatted so some sawdust does filter through the floor but it will probably stay dryer longer. Both are equally sturdy.

Great quality very solid looks lovely it’s for the works cat excellent value for money arrived very quickly am extremely pleased and the cats been inside and on top an excellent hard waring non slip felt.. was easy to put together everything came with it and the door/ ramp has a little wood piece if you want to latch it up the top lid opens on a very good metal strong hinge easy to add and take out and clean very good. The opening for some animals might be a little too small ?? So may look too dark if thinking about going in or might well be the animals ideal den.. it’s warm and dry as I’ve checked after some very bad heavy rain and storms.. Thankyou super pleased. Delivery was excellent and left exactly where we asked it to be left if no one around.

Thin soft wood so no idea how long they will last but also bought the covers which fit great and they are on rubber mats (so not on bare ground) and they are under a tarp in the run so hopefully will last for a while. V light (so would blow over in a strong wind if not in a v sheltered area) but easy to put together - I did them myself with a hand screwdriver. Bought 2 - 1 for a bantam hen and cockerel and the other for a small duck and drake. They seem happy in them. Mine are in covered, fox proof runs - the opening roof (Ideal for easy cleaning) and thin wood wouldn't keep a fox out. Am overall happy with them. And didn't cost much either.
