Excellent product. After 3 minutes I rubbed it off the quartz countertop and the super glue was gone.

Decided to give this a try after reading reviews and learning it was skin and nail safe, to remove CA-based nail glue press-ons from my poor, abused nails. Every other method of removal, including the soapy warm oil water, have left my nails damaged. I figured, they're already damaged - it can't hurt.This product is very similar in packaging to another cosmetic-grade product I had purchased (but was ultimately way too weak). Application is super easy. I love that it's a thicker consistency, so it doesn't run all over my hands. It also doesn't evaporate, which the other product I had tried did. I ended up using very little to remove the first nail, and it loosened quickly and I was able to gently take it off with absolutely no pressure or additional damage on my nail. Bonus: I was able to use the remaining product left behind on my nail to gently swipe up any loosened glue left on my nail, making cleanup absolutely a breeze.Removal of all my nails took less than 10 minutes, including wiping off all the loosened glue and washing my hands. I did not need to use acetone at all, like I normally did after every other removal. I have one nail that has a tiny bit of glue left, which I'll just lightly buff off before applying cuticle oil.I'm so happy with this product. There is only one downside - it does destroy the press-ons, which for me, isn't a big deal. However, if you're considering this product to remove custom sets, I'd try with a tester nail first. One you could get a replacement for if things went sideways.Love this product and will absolutely keep using it for my needs.

I feel like this product does a really great job at removing small bits of super glue, but it didn't fully work in my case. Maybe if it was on a more solid less porous surface it would have worked better.I accidentally dripped some super glue (Cyafixed medium thin industrial general purpose adhesive) between my legs when I was trying to glue something up, while seated at my desk. I have a synthetic leather gaming chair. The super glue that I use is pretty fast drying, so while I was trying to get it off my hands I hadn't noticed the small blob on my chair as well. When I did notice it, about 20 seconds later, it was pretty much already setting up. I wiped up as much as I could but it wasn't good enough. I got the glue on my hands, my lighter, the part, and my chair. It was a mess! After trying to manually remove the glue from my chrome-coated lighter and failing miserably, to the point of causing damage to the finish, I decided to look up and see if there were chemicals to perform essentially dissolving of the glue. I found that this product was highly recommended by several people in varying industries - mostly in 3D printing.To start, I applied Starbond to my chair. I took video of the whole process, to see it start-to-finish. The chair can be seen with 2 small drops of super glue adhered to the surface of the synthetic leather. After applying the Starbond, the glue still wasn't removed. But, also now was an additional lump on the chair in the shape of an asymmetrical oval around the effected area. It's very clearly evident that the Starbond either soaked thru the leather pores and into the foam padding of the chair, OR, de-bonded whatever chemical make-up the chair cushion had to hold itself together, like a bad chemical reaction. With the super glue still remaining firmly on top of the synthetic leather, I opted to continue and re-try removal. The additional removal processes all resulted in failure. They did lessen the volume of the top-most material, and smoothed out the tops to a dome-like shape, but the substance as a whole remained present and is still visible to this day, as well as the new defect if the chair cushion surface.After each removal of the prior application of Starbond the surfaces were cleaned with IPA to reduce the effect that they'd continue to stay active on the surface and possibly cause a skin irritant.Next, I attempted removal of the super glue from my Zippo lighter. The lighter from my failed manual rough removal resulted in scratches being present on the surface. After applying Starbond the first time, the results were dramatic. It reduced the super glue size from an area about the size of a fingernail to an area about as big as a grain of rice. Then I followed up with additional layers of Starbond, and eventually the super glue was fully removed. Sadly, I'll have to get the lighter re-coated, due to my own mistakes, but at least the super glue is now fully removed, and that process can take place.In short - Starbond is a great product that appears, to me, to work well on hard non-porous surfaces like metal. From my experience here, I wouldn't recommend its use on non-porous objects like clothing and furniture - however, some other people may say differently based on their experiences.

I left a bottle of Loctite superglue on the backseat of my new truck. I thought the cap was sealed, but apparently it was not. I didn’t realize it until half the bottle had spilled out and completely dried on the seat leaving a river of superglue down what was a perfectly flawless leather Seat. I thought I was gonna need to buy a replacement, but found this stuff. It took about six different applications, scraping with a plastic spoon in between, but it is completely gone, and my seat is in perfect condition again.

Not very impressive. Bought mainly as a de-bonder. Stays where you apply it, which is a good thing, but does not penetrate into joints. I tried to debond a couple of balsa wood pieces, but after 20 minutes I could only remove the visible CA glue but the parts were still bonded together. Probably useful to clean up excess CA or spilled CA glue but not effective as a debonder, in my opinion.

Magic in a bottle - I got this because my daughter got superglue on our cherry hardwood floors and I was panicking that it wouldn’t come off. I read the reviews that it was safe on finished woofing floors and it miraculously removed the dried on super glue after two 5 minute applications with no damage to the floors. Worth every penny.

This definitely softened the super glue dot on my pants. I applied and left on for about 15 minutes and then glue started melting. I applied it to blue slacks and it lightened the area a bit. I thought it was just glue residue spread out over the area, so I applied glue remover a second time, this time leaving it on for about an hour before washing it off. I found that the area lightened even more. So much so that I had to throw away the pants. So either test this out on fabric first or don't use on clothes.
