I purchased this adapter to connect an external hard drive to my iMac and to transfer video files from SD cards. It works perfectly with my Mac and was fully compatible right out of the box. It’s true plug-and-play — I connected it, and my Mac recognized it immediately with no setup required. The adapter includes one USB port, a standard SD card reader, and a micro SD card reader. It’s very small and compact, which I appreciate because it doesn’t stick out or clutter the back of my iMac. I’ve been using it with a 2TB external drive and regularly transfer large video files. The transfer speeds are solid. In my experience, it moves around 100GB of video in approximately 20–30 minutes, which is very reasonable for this price range. For the cost, this adapter delivers excellent value. It performs reliably and works flawlessly with Mac. Highly recommend.

This SD card is such a game changer, super compact and easy to pack anywhere you go. The SD reader is very worth the investment, they are compatible with almost all mobile devices, I use iPhone and they works amazing. Super easy to transfer stuff from my iPhone and even with my laptop. The Adapter is very durable and the whole port is very sturdy. Overall, highly recommend this to anyone who have camera and needs a SD card reader. UPDATE: It been almost a year now since I started using this SD Card Reader, and I can not express enough of how happy I am. This have been my life saver - my go to SD Card Reader for all my parties and travels! It is so convenience and I love it

Works well! I use it with my MacBook and have had no problems with it so far! I haven’t tried the usb port but the sd card port works great! Super easy to transfer pictures!
