You can pop an SD card into the doorbell chime (sold separately), and it just works. The chime also links seamlessly to the camera, and you can customize the volume and sounds.Camera quality is top-notch. The video is crisp, and you can switch between infrared (black and white) or full color night vision. I keep mine set to turn on the built-in light when someone approaches, and it’s bright enough to clearly see who’s at the door.A standout feature is the dual cameras—one faces forward, and the other looks downward to monitor packages. This is a nicely made doorbell, mounting is easy and there is a supplied 15degree wedge should you need it to get the correct viewing angle. The unit comes with a replaceable battery and the option for hard wiring to power. The video quality (2K) is excellent however dynamic range could be improved but it’s not really an issue for me . The second camera for monitoring parcels on the door step is a great innovation and so far has worked flawlessly. I also find the app is very good and the facial recognition seems to be ok (it is listed as a Beta feature). Overall very impressed, and the best bit is no subscription fees, everything is stored in camera or on the optional home hub. There is a cloud storage option should you wish but its not necessary.

This doorbell is easy to set up but be aware that using all the features increases the battery use. I haven't used all the features set to maximum but a full charged battery is down to 58% after a week. It seems reliable and takes good images. I originally had the eufy chime connected but I returned it due to wifi issues, I got the eufy Homebase 3 instead which is much better (ethernet to router). If I was mean I would deduct a star due to high battery use if you want to use the AI features (have 2 batteries) , it is a good door cam but I didn't since you can also wire it up instead I haven'tA nice feature is the door step cam so you can see the amazon man leaving a package at 7.15am Sunday morning. You can also see what is happening when away from home. Works well with Hombase 3 and I will probably get another Eufy 4k camera for the back gardenI turned notifications down as it alerted me everythime a car drove past
