But when Posy has a nap, Pip makes friends with a boy called Zac. These are wonderful books and very valuable for children
These books are wonderful. My kids love Axel Sheffler's drawings. How many details they are able to discover. And the stories themselves are great, since every story tells about an emotional conflict between friends and the way to solve it. And this is, what makes these books so precious: the kids find themselves in these situations. From "Oh dear!" to "Hooray" is sometimes not such a difficult path to go, if you have good idols to show you how. A big recommendation!

We were introduced to Pip and Posey when we were in Europe. I was so happy to find these on Amazon in the United States. The kids absolutely love them.

Fantastic content. Some parts may seem less traditional to some Americans like boys play dolls too, but we think that's super cool.

Wir lieben Pip und Posy!
Der einfache englische Text lässt sich aus dem Stand, also beim Vorlesen, übersetzen. Unsere gerade 3-Jährigen erzählen die Geschichten eh am liebsten selbst, betrachten und kommentieren dabei die wunderschönen detailreichen Bilder. Da es sich irgendwie mehr um zwei Tierfreunde handelt als um Menschenkinder, fehlt hier auch jede geschlechtsspezifische Problematik. Außerdem ist es mal Pip, der Pech hat und getröstet werden muss, und mal Posy. Es geht meistens um einfache, den meisten Kindern bekannte Situationen, die eine kleine Krise enthalten (Oh neiiin!) und zum Schluss durch gute Ideen und hilfreiche Aktionen gut ausgehen. Wunderbar!

Una colección excelente para aprender inglés
Como maestra de inglés en Educación Primaria, considero que la colección de libros de Pip and Posy es un recurso fantástico para trabajar la lengua inglesa con niños pequeños. Las historias son sencillas, cercanas y están llenas de situaciones cotidianas con las que los alumnos pueden sentirse identificados. El vocabulario es adecuado para los primeros niveles de aprendizaje del inglés y permite trabajar estructuras básicas de forma natural, sin que los niños lo perciban como un ejercicio, sino como una experiencia de lectura divertida. Las ilustraciones son claras, expresivas y ayudan mucho a comprender el significado, especialmente para aquellos alumnos que todavía están desarrollando su competencia lingüística. En el aula funcionan muy bien para actividades de comprensión oral, descripción de imágenes, adquisición de vocabulario, dramatizaciones y conversaciones sencillas en inglés. También son ideales para fomentar el gusto por la lectura desde edades tempranas. Una colección muy recomendable para familias y docentes que buscan cuentos de calidad para acompañar el aprendizaje del inglés de una manera amena, visual y motivadora.

Chegou super rápido, dez dias antes do prazo. Os livros são lindos, minha bebê de 1 ano e 8 meses amou. Ótimo pra treinar inglês. E o preço maravilhoso, coleção completa. Em português sairia o dobro do preço.
