Excellent product. We love this hose. Easy to use and melts down to a nice pool of black hose which is nothing at all to store. Highly recommend.

what is the length of the hose while not in use?

Description says “it can expand up to 3 times it’s original length “ so if ur looking at the 25ft hose, ur looking at a little over 8 feet

Is this hose safe to use in bird baths?

Not sure what you mean by ‘safe.’ The interior of the hose is latex. I don’t know if that’s okay for birds. Otherwise this is a good hose for cleaning bird droppings.

About postage for sending back..

There was something wrong with this item ..valve which was meant to open just didnt ...thats why i sent it back.. Was very upset that i didnt get my full postage refunded.. I had to pay over £33.00 To send it back and you only refunded £20.00.. As a pensiner to lose £13 postage when i was told i would get full refund was very disappointing

The internal expanding rubber hose does degrade.

Very good and light for the length, works very well, time will tell how long internal rubber hose takes to rot. Last one lasted just over 2 years
