Essential, Effective, Convenient
The Overview: If you own a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair and have a child who's just discovered the joy of dropping everything, the CATCHY Food Catcher is about to become your new best friend. I used to go through an arsenal of spoons per meal due to my baby's habit of dropping them, not to mention the food that would end up all over the floor. The Good: Mess Control: This thing catches 99% of what my little one drops. From spoons to food, it's all contained within the CATCHY, saving me from endless bending and cleaning. Ease of Use and Cleaning: After each meal, I simply wipe it down with a soapy cloth, and it's ready for the next round. No more scrubbing the floor or chasing after rogue pieces of food or utensils. Design and Compatibility: It fits perfectly with the Stokke Tripp Trapp, maintaining the chair's aesthetic while adding functionality. The design is both practical and discreet. Health of Your Back: Minimizing those repetitive bending tasks is a godsend for parents. With a baby, you're already doing enough physical labor; this accessory genuinely reduces the strain. The Not-So-Good: Price: Yes, it's on the pricier side, but when you tally up the time and effort saved, plus the sanity preserved, it's a small price to pay for such peace of mind. Overall: The CATCHY Food Catcher has been a lifesaver in my household. It might seem like an unnecessary expense at first glance, but the convenience and cleanliness it brings to mealtime more than justify the cost. My baby can explore his food (and the laws of gravity) without turning our dining area into a disaster zone. Pros: Captures nearly everything that gets dropped Easy to clean and reuse Saves time and reduces physical strain Perfect fit for Stokke Tripp Trapp Cons: Higher cost, but worth every penny Conclusion: If you're tired of the constant cleanup after every meal with your toddler, the CATCHY Food Catcher is a must-have. It's transformed how we handle mealtime, making it less of a chore and more of a joy. It's one of those parenting products where you wonder how you managed without it.

Perfect Fit for Mockingbird Moa 8-in-1 High Chair - A Must-Have!!!
I bought the CATCHY - Food Catcher, designed for the Lalo, to use with my Mockingbird Moa 8-in- 1 high chair despite the manufacturer's recommendation, and it fit really well. Although it's unfortunate that CATCHY doesn't make a specific model for the Mockingbird Moa, I was set on purchasing this brand, and I'm glad I did. The CATCHY was delivered rolled in a box and arrived in perfect condition without any bends. The instructions were super simple to follow, and the quality is top-notch. It did take some effort to fit the legs into the holes meant for the Lalo chair since those are round, while the Mockingbird Moa has oval-shaped legs. However, with a bit of patience, it worked out fine. The CATCHY is also visually appealing and not as wide as I initially expected, which is a plus. Despite its compact size, it effectively catches anything my baby throws. I didn't want to purchase splat mats because I have pets (cats) and needed something elevated off the ground. The CATCHY is super easy to clean - most times a wet cloth or paper towel will suffice. If it needs a deep clean, I simply detach the legs from the chair and spray water onto it, as the chair's legs are metal, not wood, and then leave it to dry. Overall, the CATCHY has proven to be a fantastic addition to our high chair setup, ensuring tidy mealtimes and a cleaner floor. Highly recommended for anyone with a similar setup! Don't think twice - this is definitely worth the price. ——————- I should mention that I initially purchased the CATCHY - Food Catcher meant for the Stokke Clikk, and it did not work on the Mockingbird Moa high chair.

ABSOLUTE MUST‑HAVE for Babies Learning to Eat
I am OBSESSED with this thing. I could honestly write 10 reviews for it. Total game changer for a baby learning to eat. The dog can only clean up so much, and this food catcher has saved me an unbelievable amount of floor cleaning, mess, and frustration. It is super easy to clean, just wipe up the mess and voilà! When food, cups, or utensils drop—boom—they’re caught. No more constant bending down or wiping the floor after every meal. It fits perfectly with the Lalo High Chair and feels sturdy and well thought out. Every single person who has come over while we’re using it is impressed and says they’ve never seen anything like it before. I tell EVERYONE about this contraption. It’s one of those products you don’t realize you desperately need until you have it—and then you can’t imagine life without it. If you have a baby, this is non‑negotiable. Truly a MUST HAVE for your home. 👏👏

Expensive but very very useful
Annoyingly expensive for essentially a large piece of plastic that comes pre-cut and with folding instructions, but it’s been a really good investment! My baby drops probably about 75-85% of his food (either accidentally or on purpose) and this catches almost all of that. It’s SO easy to just wipe clean with baby wipes so when the food falls, you can just pick it up and they can try again without wasting food. It’s not so big that you’re constantly bumping into it or reaching far to feed, but it’s wide enough to catch purposefully-dropped-over-the-edge food as well as a lot of the splashed purées and dropped food-covered spoons. It is a bit of a pain to install on the Stokke Tripp trapp just because you have to take the whole chair apart pretty much to get it in the right position so it’s something that isn’t going to be coming on/off easily. Definitely recommend, definitely super useful for containing mess! Just wish it was like $25 tops.

Highchair catchy
Loveeee. Fit perfectly on our high chair. Did take a little elbow grease to fold in the corners but overall relatively easy to put together. Durable, super easy to clean and wipe down, blends in with the high chair itself, and not too bulky.

Good Purchase
We purchased the Catchy for the IKEA antelope high chair and so far I am a big fan. It was easy to install, it catches “dropped” food (thrown is another story,) and it is easy to clean. The price does seem pretty high for what it is (material/simplicity) but I am really happy with this purchase. Also, any large dog will think it’s their own personal trough which is ok in our household.

Could use a few improvements, but very useful once installed
Like some other customers, I have mixed feelings about this product. For the Tripp Trapp chair specifically, it requires you to take the chair apart to install, so that is a huge inconvenience and makes it really more difficult than it needs to be. It also means that you can’t easily remove it for washing, so you are just wiping up and trying to collect everything by hand instead of being able to dump in the trash. I wish they would have added some slits to the sides to allow for easy installation and removal, and if they did it would probably be a 5 star product. I also agree with others that it seems very pricey for what it is, although the innovation is worth something and there are no competitors that I had found. It is a sturdy piece of plastic, and it absolutely does what it advertises. Food no longer makes it to the floor, it is all caught in the catchy. It does fit the chair snugly and once it’s in place you will probably love its function.

Excellent
On the more expensive side but 100% worth it! It’s saved so many spoons, bowls, drinks, toys etc and we’ve only had it a week. Easy to fit and the instructions were very clear. It seems well made and I can’t see it needing to be replaced. Easy to wipe down and it looks as good as a large catchy tray can! I’ve recommended it to all my mum friends!
