Loved every second of Audience With Ken Dodd. Couldn't stop laughing!

I defy anyone - of any age - to view this for the first ten minutes without laughing! The audience are having a whale of a time, entering into the wonderful spirit of Ken's fantastic performance. You can see tears running down the cheeks of some of the celebrities - and the cheers when Ken starts an operatic aria in his usual hilarious way, then finishes it with the power and quality of an experienced opera singer! What a showman! What a real comedian! What a star! The combination of his jokes, quips, ventriloquism, and his singing, together with his warm relationship with his audience, makes this a DVD you can view over and over again, and laugh till your sides split every time. If something is funny, it is funny forever. Ken Dodd's heart and soul go into his live performances. You can see that this is his life. Ending with his famous song 'Happiness' we all catch what he is conveying, and we are indeed happy, and ready for more.

A truly great comedian who keeps you chuckling and laughing all the way through. Saw this year's ago on the tv but there is so much more on this dvd. The DVD itself is good quality and has the added benefit of subtitles which means the hard of hearing never miss a punchline or a little aside quip. Delivered quickly, sealed, and well packed. Great value for money. Would certainly recommend and would buy again.

In what is very sad and troubled times watching this very funny and sometime fast paced show helps to give a little escape from stress.

After watching a documentary about the man, I bought this. A comedy genius at work with no swearing required. Superb and sorely missed master of mirth and a very talented man.

Brought for my dad as he has always loved Ken Dodd

I can say nothing about this comic genius that has not been expressed for years. Look at his audience,seasoned comedians and comedy actors with tears in their eyes laughing. Not a foul word or gesture just pure comedy timing and skill. As Doddy says,he doesn`t mind alternative comedy as long as they don`t start telling jokes. Watch a Master at work while exercising those chuckle muscles.. One word of warning!! You must take the loyal oath at the beginning.
