I have used this hard drive for a while now with my Xbox Series S and it has worked perfectly. It is a plug and use product with no set up needed. The transfer speeds are very quick and reliable, I run majority of my Xbox games through it. If you are planning on using this hard drive on Next Gen Consoles, it can not run "optimised for xbox series s/x games" but you can still store those games on it! Perfect for the price!

Been using for 3 years now. Easy to format and get set up. I leave it rested on my console and find no heat issues. Portable and conveniently sized. Connects to PS4 and PS5 without issues (however, it will only store and play PS4 games). Currently holds around 12 PS4 games (multiple AAA and AA games), with 230GB left.

This is a good product,and works well,but will not work with windows 11 ,so be careful if you upgrade your pc,but store your old stuff you want to transfer on here,it WONT WORK.

I bought the Toshiba 1TB Canvio Basics Portable External Hard Drive (HDTB410EK3AA) for £39.98, which felt like a fair price for the storage. It’s a simple 2.5" external drive with a matt black finish, nothing flashy but it does the job. It’s USB-powered with USB 3.2 Gen 1, so transfers are fairly quick and it works straight away with Windows once plugged in. It’s also compatible with Xbox One and PS4, which is handy. With Amazon Prime delivery and the 30-day returns, buying it felt low risk. Overall, a solid basic drive with no fuss.

Bought this to replace a failed 500 gb usb 2 hard drive. Couldn't believe how small and lightweight this was compared to to the old drive. Plugged it into my Panasonic 65"OLED Smart TV and after formatting was good to go. Cable is quite short but long enough to allow me to secure the drive to the back of my TV using Velcro. So far I am extremely pleased with this drive. It is incredibly fast and responsive when playing, pausing and rewinding. I love being able to skip through all the adverts which have come to plague our TV viewing experience. So far I cannot fault this drive. There were a lot of negative comments in the reviews and you will have to make your own decision but its 5 stars from me.

I bought this Toshiba external storage drive to hold stuff that I wouldn't use everyday on the desktop, and it hasn't let me down so far ! So useful for storing .mp3's, .mp4's, .pdf's...etc. Whenever I require something that I know I've got stored away on this drive, it's there ! I tend to use this as a sort of library, containing information I once required from the internet, downloaded it for use or learning, and then stored away on this drive so it doesn't 'clog-up' my desktop internal drive space ! Extremely handy for storing away knowledge for use whenever I require it !! Speed of the drive is decent for my use, USB cable included to attach to a desktop, PC, Laptop etc. - cable is a little short I would have to add, TAKE NOTE TOSHIBA - space is adequate to keep plenty of information on for various types of 'libraries' of information. In fact, I've got at least three of these 1TB external drives storing a lot of info for when I need it ! In the old days we had book libraries...now I've got loads more info stored away on these drives, saving so much on desktop space ! If you have kids who use a PC, ( and let's face it, who doesn't ?! ), maybe getting them used to storing away their school info on something like an external storage drive would help them greatly come exam time ! I purchased this to store a range of files to use on my MacBook. I often work between computers (all MacOS) but also work on the move. I needed a new portable hard drive and after researching for a while decided to go for this Toshiba 1TB drive. It is small, smaller than any of my other portables, which is very handy and a big plus. Initially the drive was set as Windows NT file system. It was simple enough to erase and format the driver to make it Mac OS. Overall this is a good little portable hard drive, and one that I would recommend to others. Just make sure to note that if you are using it with MacOS then it does need to be reformatted beforehand or it will not allow you to transfer any files to it.
