Good value
Decent tool and good value. Robust tool, cordless probably handier but big price difference and not used often

Updated:-Preliminary view of this tool
I bought this a few weeks ago to help refurbish a bathroom and for longer term projects I need to do.These are my first impressions:-Does not feel German and not up to Makita standards, Chinese perhaps? However seems reasonably well made although a grey piece of the cover right at the front above the blade fell off! I don't think it could have been fitted properly, I was able to get it back on and it has not come off since.Quite powerful enough, surprisingly so.Cuts timber end on quite successfully but not as easily as shown in the videos for this type of tool. However to cut skirting on the wall with anything else is just about impossible. So full marks for that.Cutting thin sheet aluminium is very slow and the blades have a habit of skidding. My jig saw does a much better job.Removing Wall tiles is definitely not as easy as you would suppose, I bought some extra carbide blades from Saxton which enables you to cut the grout between the tiles. Terrible tendency for the blade to skid. Pretty hopeless at getting up behind the tiles. One concern I have with the machine is how hot it runs. It is too uncomfortable to hold after a few minuets of continuous use so I found you have to pause every now and then to let it cool off a bit which it does quite quickly.Another irritation is the way the blades fit to the machine. They are slow to change and have a habit of coming undone no matter how hard you seem to tighten the bolt up, probably something to do with the vibration. You will need to buy extra blades and abrasive paper. The case is just about adequate.I a not going to say I would not buy this again at this stage. The price is obviously very good and delivery was up to Amazons high standard. I will update this review when I have undertaken more tasks with the tool.Updated 23/12/13I have now used the tool more and for different tasks. It cut ceramic tiles reasonably efficiently with the flat ended carbide blades. It is great for clearing out the crap between floor boards and is good at cutting plastic pipes in confined spaces.I suspect it would cut copper just as easily. The sanding is a little disappointing but good at getting right into corners on floor boards, and very small areas. Cutting out small bits of wood/chipboard is impressive but longer cuts need a jig saw.So to the gripes. Everything I previously said stands especially the time it takes and awkwardness of tool changes. The machine still gets quite hot after only a few minuets continuous use and another small problem is the speed control which seems to change of its own volition. (you can be cutting away and the machine gets slower. The speed wheel turns back presumably due to the vibration.) The machine is also very noisy and I had to wear hearing protection for some tasks. Finally the operating instructions are inadequate.I suspect that a number of my reservations about this tool also apply to other makes and models, so are generic to this type of oscillating machine. So would I buy this machine again? possibly, it has been useful, but I would probably go for a machine with a better and quicker tool change arrangement.

Surprised.
Been researching these tools for sometime now and was a little sceptical at first but I am converted after 4 days of varied use from sanding to cutting sticking doors without removing all with ease. The machine is small enough to grip in one hand and use without discomfort.I also purchased the Saxton SH13CS01 13 Blades kit at the same time and can confirm these fit the Einhell perfectly.I would recommend both.

No faults, does as it’s supposed to :)
My husbands old one blew up as he’d had it for many years. Bought him this and he’s not complained. Great little tool!

... had a few multi tools but not one as good as this
I have had a few multi tools but not one as good as this. It is excellent, powerful, slim and top marks for the build quality. I highly recommend this

Absolute rubbish - could be a great little tool if it kept working!!
Sadly this is the second faulty one. The first worked for an hour, this one less than 5 minutes (VERY light sanding)I would suggest you buy a different brand. I will be.I fear Amazon may have acquired a faulty batch
