It does its job and keeps my tank clean. The water flows smoothly and produces a pleasant, calming sound rather than a noisy crash. The pressure can be adjusted as well. The installation was quick; I was able to put it up in a couple of minutes. Perfect sizing for my 50-gallon tank.

I go through filters fast so thought would try this little unit. Very quiet and does the job for my 60 gallon goldfish tank. It is powered with two stage filtration. Makes no sound at all really.

Going over a month and haven’t had to change the water in my turtle tank. Only add water here and there. It’s not very noisy but obviously you will hear the sound of water. I like the design HOWEVER, If you are using sand I recommend placing something (like a rock) underneath the filter so it doesn’t suck up the sand (I made that mistake and had to empty and clean out the gilter in less than an hour 😅). I think it is definitely worth the price since turtles are known to be dirty and I haven’t had to change the water yet.

Powerful. Easy to set up and easy to clean. But really doesn’t clear the water the way it advertises I have to clean it every three days. Maybe I just have messy turtles!

Perfect!!! Absolutely perfect filter, smart design, hangs on the tank good. And I LOVE that it's internal, as the external filters tend to leak when they give out and mess up the wall behind them. But it still gives that sound of the water flow despite being an internal filter.

Bought this product and was happy with the quality. Kept my turtle tank clean for almost 3 months until it stopped working. Reached out the manufacturer and they said they would send me a new one per the 1 year warranty and then 3 days later notified me that since I had reached out to Amazon (to find out how to contact them and Amazon had offered me a refund - which I denied) they would not send me a new one.) No way to speak to them on the phone and communications takes days in between. I am calling Amazon back and accepting their offer for refund. Also, might not recommend this unit for tanks with sand- it’s pretty powerful and was sucking sand up. I ended up putting a large rock right at the bottom of it and it heed a lot

I have tried several different filters and this has been the best so far. I have an adult red-slider turtle in a 40 gallon breeder aquarium and I find that the filter keeps the water clear as long as you follow a good maintenance schedule. Plus it is fairly quiet and easy to clean. This is my second filter because I broke the first one cleaning it (completely my fault), but the company was very helpful in getting me a replacement.
