Could the end of the hose be pointed up with a pop up?

The hose off of the drainage tray is very small…. Not the size of a downspout extension hose. It is only around 1.5-2.0” in diameter. The force of water going through it would probably make it come out of the ground if you forced it to go vertical above the ground.

Can you install the pipe underground and terminate with a pop up emitter? Or is the pipe too flimsy?

I didn't place the hose underground. But, the hose is pretty durable and should be able to work with an attached pop up emitter.
