This piece was not machined as precisely as I would've liked, the fit is very slightly loose on both threads, but it does screw in just fine. A bit of teflon tape solves it. Good value overall, can't complain.

This review is for the XNTONG - Faucet Adapter, External Thread M24 to External Thread M22 Faucet Converter, Faucet Aerator Adapter, Suitable for Connecting Aerators to Kitchen Faucets, (M24-M22) £5.59 (was 6.99) at the time of review. The manufacture is okay although it is looser in the tap than it should be – I needed to use a LOT of tape to get a decent seal. The video shows it being tightened by hand – I simply could not get it tight enough using my hand to stop it leaking. Fortunately, I had a 12mm Allen key that was bought to remove the sump plug from a Fiat Panda, and this fitted the hexagonal hole in the top which let me tighten it enough. I tried screwing the aerator on first, before screwing the adapter into the tap, but again and without the Allen key, I simply couldn’t get it tight enough. It works, but needs a fair amount of tape to seal it properly and it isn’t cheap either so 4 stars from me. I think I would rather look for an aerator that fitted my tap directly, rather than mess about with an adapter.

Exactement le raccord dont j'avais besoin pour installer mon mitigeur femelle M22 sur mon robinet avec embout femelle M24, le raccord est reçu dans une petite housse qui est elle-même dans une petite boîte en plastique avec deux joints (un dans chaque dimension, M22 et M24), le raccord me semble assez lourd pour être du métal et non une copie résine ou plastique peinte, l'installation est simple et n'a pas nécessité pour ma part de ruban téflon supplémentaire (aucune fuite malgré un serrage à la main, faites juste attention car le filetage est un peu coupant, également je conseille de le laver avant installation pour éviter de contaminer l'eau), un bon produit que je recommande !

I needed a replacement adapter for the faucet connection to our water filter, and the XNTONG Universal adapter popped up on the radar, and with it, the impression of a hopeful solution to a baffling conundrum. Our kitchen faucet has a spray head without a threaded aerator, and when removed leaves a 1/2" hose. It’s likely I could have gone to the hardware store and, using a series of adapters, along with a learning curve and a frustrating experience, gone from the 1/4” male hose to the 1/2" female threads on the water filter fitting. The XNTONG Universal adaptor appeared to be the most expedient means of making the connection, and avoiding the dreaded to trip to you know where. Fortunately, that’s the way it turned out. The adapter worked out well; there are no leaks when properly installed. In my case, I had to remove one layer of the inner silicone core in order to allow the hose to slip in far enough so that it will sit flush with the exit hole of the adapter; without this step, it leaked. I then tightened more than what felt comfortable, but that’s what worked. I really had to tighten it down. No plumber’s titanium tape was necessary. Although not the most elegant solution, XNTONG Adaptor turned out to be the most expedient and convenient.
