I've had several magic 8-balls in the past and found them valuable in making decisions at my hospital job. Unfortunately it seems like we got a defective one this time, because it's already been totally wrong more than any of the other versions we used in the past were. It makes choices faster and more efficiently than most management teams do, but it's not any more reliable. We asked it if we should return it and try to get a better magic 8-ball, but it just told us to ask again later.

Still fun and fabulous after all these years. Unbelievably stupid but I love it.

Hard to read so only serves as gag value when you first pull it out to answer that unanswerable question

Took me on a real nostalgia trip. The magic eight is well-made, and reminded me strongly of my magic eight ball when I was a kid. The only change I would make would be that the messages on the bottom could be a little stronger more clear - on our ball lettering was kind of faint.

As I see it, yes without a doubt it is certain you may rely on it. Most likely it is decidedly so. My sources say no need to ask again later.

It is an iconic item. Get one to solve arguments between kids. Fun for everyone. Good item to keep on the shelf in a handy place so you can consult the 8-ball any time.
