20 Gallon Lid

This lid was the perfect replacement for the one that came with our pail that rusted and the handle fell off. We use a pail to collect dog poo in our backyard, so a lid is an absolute must until it’s time to toss the bag into the trash.The lid has held up well so far and seems like it will continue to hold up for a long time. We live in the PNW, so rust is expected eventually, but time will tell how much life we get out of this thing.

This fits and was a good price, BUT it took 15 days after they told me it was shipped to get delivered. Way too long in this day and age. I was supposed to get it a few days ago, but they then notified me it had been delayed and could take up to another 6 days! At least it was only half that. I was almost convinced someone was actually walking it across the country to me it was taking so long. The return label says it was from Yarmouth Port, MA and I'm in Tucson, AZ, but for it to take that long is ridiculous.

I returned this lid. The ad stated "Durable Handle". There is no handle. Why make a top with no handle?

The lid is well made, but as other reviews said, mine did not come with a handle?? I’ve gotten it to work fine without it but I can definitely see how this would cause great frustration.

Didn't realize when I ordered that the can I needed lid for was same make. When it came and I put it on it was a perfect fit and that's when I realized it was same name brand as can. Have 2 more Behren cans so will order for those now that I know the fit is right.That's not to say it won't work on other brands.

I use their metal cans for storing horse feed and birdseed. These metal cans are corrosion resistant and so far rodent-proof. I was able to buy the can-with-lid at my local home store, but I had to order the replacement lids directly. They are identical to the original lid.PROSCheaper than replacing the whole can-with-lid when a lid gets badly bent or lostFits and looks identical to originalCONSOnly wish it was available locally. It's not cheap and when you add in shipping, you need to weigh in on if it's worth not just buying a whole new can-with-lid set.

I use Behrens metal trash cans to store fertilizer and feed. The NO-handle lids don't leak or rust. No handle also means there is no handle to fall off. Win.Now - let's talk about grow bags. Difficult to grow plants in because the soil dries out very quickly, and it is difficult to keep soil consistently moist, until I sat a bag in my trash can lid and filled the lid with water. Bottom watering, moist soil, happy plant. Great! I bought one replacement lid at $12.99 which arrived yesterday. 20 gallon lid is perfect for 5 gallon bags. Came here today to order more. The price increased to $27.00! Sorry, Behrens. You just lost a big sale.

Bought this for a homemade pizza lid for over the fire pizza and it works perfectly very happy with it.
