If I use this along with your POE injector, can I exclude the original Starlink router?

Yes, this is the primary function of the PoE Injector, you can use any 3'd party Router, and this Adapter helps you eliminate the need to crimp the Starlink cable to the RJ45 connector. Can a standard Cat8 cable be used If this device is used in conjunction with the ‎YSNEPPU15001A PoE Injector or must the included cable be used?

If you want to use a longer cable, you can change included cable to a cat8 cable with a T-568B crimping scheme on both sides.

I have a busted SLcable I can add shield jack to. I have a working SLcable. Can I use this with outdoor SP(no injector)for SP and still poe to dishy?

You can put an RJ45 Jack on each end of your busted cable with a good quality coupler and reconnect your cable. You don’t need the Yaosheng device.
