Worked great on my older sliding glass door. Fit perfectly.

I removed my doggie door and needed a new lock for my sliding patio door. I lined up the new lock with the original holes, and it fit perfectly. I'm not the best diyer, so I am surprised at the ease of installation and how it worked the first time I tried. Yea! The new lock is strong and holds tightly, just as I wanted.

Be sure to look at the locking mechanism on your slider. Mine was off center so I hade to use a grinding tool on one side to make it work.

Five stars. This latch isn’t just an overachiever. It’s the valedictorian of all door hardware. The moment I installed it, my sliding door straightened up like it had just been inspected by a four-star general. It clicked into place so confidently that even my dog paused like, “Whoa… we salute now?” It fit my Pella door perfectly and instantly transformed my once-wimpy patio slider into a fortress of mild suburban security. The wind no longer even tries to come in. It takes one look at this latch, whispers “not today,” and moves on to bully someone else’s house. The door stays shut so well I’m convinced this latch wakes up every morning, looks in the mirror, and says motivational things like “today I will exceed standards.” If this thing gets any more committed to its mission, I’m going to have to write it up for an award. Highly recommend. If Amazon sold a tiny medal, I’d pin it on this latch immediately.
