I love the part where it shows how you can create a gorgeous color combo arrangement and how to arrange it.

This is a stunningly beautiful book for anyone who loves roses. The amount of thought, love, and detail that went into this book is evident. It’s a joy to read and to look at, and anyone would appreciate it, regardless of whether you just enjoy having cut roses in your home or you enjoy growing roses yourself. Detailed enough to entice the experienced rosarian yet simplistic enough for a novice to come away feeling empowered and educated in their garden. I simply could not recommend it more. I already know I will return to it time and time again. Not only will it be beautiful in my home, but equally useful as well.

I’m new at rose gardening and I love how this book has tons of information on growing garden roses. The book also featured different rose varieties which was done so beautifully through pictures and their descriptions. The roses included were also well thought out with a good diversity in style, color, and form. It introduced me to new varieties I don’t think I’ll ever be interested in. This book is great for new and long time rose lovers—both groups will appreciate the enchanting roses in “paper format”! My favorite part of the book is the year round rose care guide. For someone like me who is still building their rose knowledge, this book definitely gave me the boost of confidence that I can grow my own garden roses too!

Growing Roses by Grace Poulson is a magnificent work of art. Much like roses themselves it is beautifully and artfully crafted, with layers and layers of information. What I thought would be a beautiful coffee table book is truly resource tool for rosarians. She included fabulous, practical descriptions of many roses; covered rose-disease and pest control better than I've seen in a book, provided design and selection education and even gets into arranging. It's a book that has it all, and is an enjoyable and visually beautiful read. I keep it on my nightstand and have enjoyed reading it daily. Sometimes to relax, sometimes to solve a gardening problem. It's easily my favorite rose-growing resource.

This book really is the complete guide to growing roses - from selecting a garden palette to details on beloved rose types. It takes you through selecting & planting your roses to caring for, harvesting & arranging. Not only is it informative, but it’s the most beautiful romantic book on roses I have seen. Dreamy photographs & botanical illustrations are featured throughout. It’s a book I will come back to often for reference and pure sensory enjoyment.

A beautifully photographed book, with a great deal of rose varieties. Year round Rose care, arranging, planting, pruning etc. All you need to get started!

Displaying roses at their best, this book is encouraging to anyone interested in growing roses. Although it is for the American market, many popular English roses are featured. As a rose-grower, I found the sections on pests and diseases, and caring for roses month by month useful and well laid out.
