It is an excellent computer and my go-to tech. It is well-made and looks good. I first bought an ASUS Chromebook for my mother, who struggled with Windows. I quickly realised that the Chromebook OS suited my lifestyle now that I have retired. It is quick to load up and perfect for emails, web browsing, video conferencing, and YouTube. It is fast, responsive, and ideal for my needs. Google has a comprehensive suite of apps, and my Windows laptop is only used for programs that are not cloud-based. Cloud storage is the way ahead and allows me to synch with my android phone: a perfect battery life and a good quality screen. I thoroughly recommend this product.

It has taken me awhile to get used to not having Microsoft Word, but now that I have more or less got my head around how to use Google Docs, I am very impressed with this laptop. Quick tip to those like myself and need to share my screen when using Skype, you must make sure that all of your Google Docs & files are available "offline" This took me 2 weeks to figure out! Overall, very impressed with the speed, screen quality and battery life, although the claimed "10 hour" battery life is an exaggeration, it's still good for a few hours, but certainly not 10. In my opinion, well worth the £250 I paid.👍

reliable with a quick boot. decent storage (if you need it as cloud is there). multiple boot available for different users and google accounts make set up easy. backlit keyboard is now a must and min 8g ram as i have found another PC lacking . People complain about this getting hot but it is just not a use in bed laptop. yes it has afan whichis a good thing and it works very well . its not loud as other have said unless your listening to nothing else in a quiet room. my laptop is on a stand and never gets hot it has when on my lat but if i open my legs and dont BLOCK the fan its still fine. I tested this processor to itr max running abolutly everything at the same time and pligging ina old had disk drive with 12 internet tabs open and fan running a full pelt and it didnot slow down. recomended ( unless you sleep with and use yours in bed) screen is super bright and perfect for a movie speakers better than most but just ok. 2x USB 3.0p and 2x USB-C + HDMI and headphone socket

This was a life changing chromebook it changed my view on homework. I hated homework and it was very annoying but after I got this chromebook I found it fun because when you turn it on it lights up and the keyboard is good aswell.It’s also great to use for internet surfing and is easy to use.Very solidly built and robust in use.It’s also a nice slim design .The sound quality is great .

Boot time takes few seconds, all necessary apps are available. Touchpad is smooth and easy to use and just browsing web I could easily 10+ hours of baterry life. HP Printer setup took less than minute and all bluetooth devices just works. It can easily replace your windows laptop for all media consumption, web browsing, etc. Is it suitable for gaming? Well, Yes and No. You can run Google Play games, plus there is GeForce Now and Steam app for ChromeOS too. However, not all games would run out-of-the-box, some won't run and some need some tinkering. Chromebook's keyboard has very useful features and dedicated buttons, but it takes some time to get used to it, but It can improve productivity and overall ChromeOS experience up!

For anyone looking to switch to Chromebook, this device is a good one to pick. It has a great screen, keyboard, trackpad and the internals are great too. CPU and paired with 8GB means it is very quick. Getting this with 12-months Gemini Advance is a nice addition. At £18.99pm, it is a huge saving. My only gripe which is me clutching at straws, the weight is a tad on the heavy side and the battery could be better.

Funny that; it's what I'm currently using to review this product. Super happy with it. Simplicity at its finest. It does the job, especially since I have a Mac Pro, so I use this more when I'm attending the coffee shop. Additionally, the advantage of downloading apps is that I can do it on my phone. Allows me to use and work accordingly, as I dislike having small screens. Suppose you are looking for something easy to use with a good, long battery life. This is for you.

I am a BIG Chromebook fan. I am always suggesting them to people, explaining how simple they are to use. So I needed (still need) a new laptop, found this amazing bargain, I've never had a laptop with backlit keys before this was lush! It is thin, not very heavy. Nice colour, delicious to type on! I couldn't get enough of the ease of movement to type, my speed of typing went right up I was super happy! I loved that I had a webcam cover. Simple things can be noticed when you haven't had them before. The screen was lovely, I watched the first season of Halo on this and it looked stunning. So why my 3 stars? Well the battery made no sense at all. I started to notice the laptop needed charging rather often and I am not on it all day long. I was only opening my laptop in the evenings for around 2 hours. I did some surfing then watched my Halo but I noticed I was needed to charge up every other day. Now this is shocking for Chromebooks, I am ALWAYS raving about the batteries! I couldn't work this one out. I set everything to power save, turned off the lovely back lit keys :( I then charged to 100% then started noting how the battery coped and wrote down everything I was doing and no denying it this had/has something wrong with the battery, may have just been mine? I do not know. But it turned out two nights of use that is 4 hours I then needed to charge up. NO SENSE I kept an eye on it & nothing changed no matter what I tried/did so I sadly had to return, I am beyond butted because this was lovely to surf on, type on, watch on and I loved some of the newer functions I've not had on my past laptops. I feel robbed. Everyone else raves about this laptop (even the battery) but here is me a very long term Chromebook user/fan & I feel gutted & let down that this had any issue but one so critical as the battery is just so annoying for me. I have loved the long batteries of this make & if it were a smaller issues I could have put up with it. Before your wondering I never left the laptop on stand by it was always shut down fully. I hope no one else has this battery issue I had because the laptop otherwise is perfect. Gutted.
