It really is rather small and relatively light weight. A little to heavy for shirt pocket or neck of a t-shirt. The front side clip is shorter and therefore a bit stiffer, which can make it tricky to get onto a textile. The video is bouncy because there is no image stabilization, but that's fine for my use. The video and audio quality is good. The battery holds its charge good for weeks, so far that I can tell. Getting the video onto my PC is just copying files from a file folder...easy.

Given the small size and weight ( a little bigger than a pack of gum ) I wasn’t sure if it would live up to the hype found in the reviews. But I was quite surprised and impressed how well it worked! The images are remarkably good for 1080P, ( I’ve seen many devices claim to be 4K that aren’t as sharp as the W1 ) and the auto is clean and clear. On your person, given how light the unit is, tends to bounce around as you move. But I’ve seen learned that unless you need to photo-document something like a package delivery, it will auto record conversations remarkably well if you just turn it on and put into a pants pocket or even better a vest pocket - it is then discrete and undetectable. This BOBLOV W1 is cheap insurance to have when having “ he said, I said” situations to document the conversation for possible future reference.

I wanted a small, discreet camera to use on our dog walks because, if an untoward incident occurs, video evidence is better than recall. I had to send for info to apply the time/date stamp, as I could not download the text file from the boblov website. In the text message (yq_config_file) I received, I changed to the correct time and date. With the camera connected to the computer via the USB cord, I then saved the revised text file to the USB file (F: drive, in my case, Windows Vista). Time will tell about durability, but so far: Pros: (1) It’s small (75 mm x 26 mm x 15 mm) and black so as to not be easily noticed. The small flashing light is to the side, not the front. (2) A 64Gb TF (micro SD) card is included. (3) It takes good video (1080p at 30 fps). (4) The audio is surprisingly good for such a small camera. (5) It does a good enough job in low (indoors) lighting, and seems okay in drizzly rain. (6) Our dog walks last 60-75m, and the camera is still running at the end. Cons: (1) The instructions say (a) video recording: flashes blue (b) charging: flashes chartreuse To my aging eyes, these appear to be reversed in my camera. (2) I needed to revise the clip after the camera fell off my sling pack strap while I was shoveling snow on a walk. Good thing I felt my strap and looked back. There it was­--lying on the sidewalk! Back home, I cleaned the clip. Then using one-sided sticky Velcro, applied rough Velcro out (facing camera body) on the outside clip. It seems to have helped retain the camera better. REVISION (3.25.24): Well, initially, I liked the camera very much. I even bought another one. Now, I have to downgrade my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because in varying (not so much) outdoors lighting, the video would go almost dark, like the darkness of dusk just before nightfall. I thought it was just the one camera, but the 2nd one has the same problem. If I can see pretty well with my aging eyes, I expect the video camera to record almost as well as what my eyes saw. Revision 6.30.24. I like the camera, hence now 4 stars. The biggest drawback is that the clip alone is not enough to hold the camera to a sling strap. I would suggest Boblov include a lanyard. I lost one of my cameras on a dog walk when I stopped to cut tall weeds.

I wanted a small bodycam that could clip onto my arm-band phone case and this successfully does that! Only 3 inches in height, so def compact and it is very light weight, do not even notice that it is on my arm. Plan to use it on my dog walks and want to have video/audio proof in case of some kind of interaction with other people/vehicles, as I have been almost hit by cars that are not paying attention and I know of a friend that was threatened by someone else when out walking their dog! Video/Audio proof would have really helped him Video: The video itself is very clear and picks up sounds very well. It does everything that I want it to do. Downside: No video stabilization! But for the price, I didn't expect that, nor really needed for my application. So far very pleased and would recommend it

Do not buy this body camera. The BAD: 1. When recording video, the sound consistently stops recording. I still get video, but losing sound randomly is a huge problem. 2. The clip isn’t good. While it can stay somewhat in place with the front clip, it can be knocked off or grabbed too easily. (Currently looking for some way to secure it better). 3. The reset button doesn’t work. 4. Figuring out the timestamp setting was annoying. The file from Boblov was no good; at least for my Mac. I made a custom txt file, labeled it timeset.txt, input the time in the following format on the first line 2001/01/01 01:01:01, and then copy and pasted it onto the SD card. The GOOD: 1. I liked the size and the light weight, though it did seem still too thick for a mini-body camera. 2. Camera video quality was passable; it wasn’t great. 3. Plug and play is great! 4. The recording light is very discrete, which is great! Overall. I would NOT buy this product again. The sound recording needs to be consistent for video recording! Maybe, MAYBE I can deal with the other drawbacks, but there is a lot of room for improvement with this body camera. I did not contact Boblov about my issues, as this was a Xmas gift that is just now being assessed.

Most of the reviews here match my experience and the description of the product well. I was impressed with the wide frame of the camera and like others said the microphone is incredible. However, it did bounce around a decent amount while on the top of my jeans trying to hide it a bit. I had no issues with the clips (the mounting clips of the device) when putting it inside my jeans and using the clip on the front. I liked that the microphone was built at the top of the camera to help someone put it on their belt line or in a pocket somewhere. I thought the night usage looked fine. But, I am in the middle of a small-mid-sized city where there are street lights every few houses from each other. I did return it and get a replacement because the time stamp did not update. It did not work on either which makes the device worthless for me. I followed all of the instructions in the guide, on their website, tips on Amazon, and downloaded the extra file. I also reached out to their customer service team and after 2 days, I still did not receive a reply. I did not reach out via social media like one review here suggests because I am not willing to do that. I did find that it won't show that it is done charging if there is not an SD card in it. I thought it was just taking 700 hours to do the original charge. When I got the replacement, I left the SD card in, and it was fully charged within about 90 minutes. This was a dangerous find: When I did the formatting of the SD drive to remake the files myself and test it, I forgot to copy them or screenshot first. I found that pushing the reset button on my camera (1st one) brought back almost 100% of the files, including pictures and video I had already deleted manually and in the formatting. I find that to be dangerous for security purposes. The replacement user guide had definitely been updated even though it said the same thing. The verbiage in it was improved slightly here and there. For perspective - I spent almost 6 hours messing with the time stamp trying to get it fixed. I have a degree in Web Design & coding of it, so I understand what I’m looking at here. Make sure, like another review suggests, that you delete the extra space/s in the timestamp file(s). The other review who suggests a battery pack would work for battery issues was correct in that need. The battery lasted about 3.5 hours when on video recording non-stop. I experimented with my own SD card, too, and not the one provided, but I cannot get an correct timestamp whatsoever, so I’ll find another model. If I figure the timestamp out, I will update this review. This would also be a great device if you just need an audio recorder. The microphone is excellent. The camera could use a bit of improvement with stability and I definitely miss my broken W2 that I loved, but this is a good camera overall and a good value for sure if you don't need a time stamp and won't be super active physically with it. It would work for going on walks or general need of a camera to cover yourself legally if anything should happen. I found both the original and the replacement to be consistent in functionality. Overall, a great value.

I really enjoy this Boblov W1 body cam, I have worn 3 days walking dog. The playback is really good on the pc unlike other body cams poor quality playback., connects to usb port and works like a folder, video, pictures etc, no fancy stuff, power on, power off, connect to usb and watch the files or copy, 64gb sd card included gets full it will over write last files , can use 128gb sd if needed, ease of use good, weight is none then durability and good quality , its serves its purpose well.

I'll start with the good stuff: this camera is pretty small and very light, which makes it easy to attach to things. It has two clips included, but I also glued a magnet to the back and that gave me even more mounting options. I appreciate that it records to a microSD card, but it also functions as a USB card reader so you don't have to interact with the card at all if you don't want to. It's very easy to use, you just flip the switch to start recording and turn it off to stop. The files can be read by any computer just like a flash drive, and there's a little text file where you can adjust settings if you need to. Unfortunately, this camera has a few flaws that combined make it unsuitable for basically any purpose I could imagine buying it for. The most obvious thing is the video quality. The appearance of individual frames is mediocre, with weak colors and that weird oversharpened look that a lot of cheap cameras have, but the bigger issue is the way it handles motion. Of course you're not getting any fancy stabilization technology included, but if it was just shaky in the normal way you could fix it with software after the fact. However, there seems to also be some sort of very pronounced rolling shutter issue, which creates a jello-like effect whenever the camera moves even a little bit. I've never seen it this bad on any camera, even really cheap phones and that sort of thing. Because of this, your footage will be borderline unwatchable if the camera is moving basically at all, no matter how much processing you do in post. So clearly it's not for vloggers, but given the price we already knew that. What if you're a security guard, or a delivery driver, and just want to record the events that happened to you? Well unfortunately you'll run into the second issue, which is the real killer: this thing sometimes just drops clips. You turn the switch on, record for a few minutes, turn it off, and the clip never appears on the SD card. The first time it happened I assumed I just made a mistake, but it's happened several more times since then, so I'm convinced that it's a problem with the device. If you're just casually taking clips of your hiking or something then maybe it's not a big deal, but a camera that records in bad quality and sometimes loses the footage is barely a camera at all. So I can't recommend this one unfortunately.

Fonctionne bien, et remplit bien son rôle

Tiene una gran calidad de imagen y de grabación de audio. Ideal para grabar reuniones y atención de funcionarios. Permite también, gracias a sus dos ganchos, que se quede bien fija a la ropa o a un sistema Molle. Se podría usar como equipo de seguridad discreto, aunque existen modelos de esta marca mejores para ese cometido. Como pega, no tiene visión nocturna y una batería relativamente limitada, pero es el modelo más barato de Boblov y la discreción de su tamaño va unida a la pérdida de características. No depende luego de ningún software ni cosas raras, como otra cámara oculta que tuve que comprar. Es muy sencilla de usar y operar. El botón de instantánea no para la grabación de vídeo.

La verdad estoy muy satisfecha con la cámara, aunque llevo muy poco tiempo de usarla. El único inconveniente fue que no me sirve su poca batería de 1 hrs necesito 3 a 4 continuas. Se tarda en cargar 2 hrs. Por lo que no llenó mis expectativas. Pero la imagen de video excelente.
