They are most commonly used in soups - "sopa de fideos" although can be used in many more pasta dishes. They can also be used for Fideuà (the noodle version of a seafood paella) if you prefer thinner noodles. Fideos No. 2 also make great pasta dishes for small children as it is essentially a very short spaghetti.
