Dog Collar Extra Links for Training Collars, 4 Pack (2.25mm, Black) | Dog Training Collar Links, Steel Chrome Plated

These extra links came, well-packaged, delivered on time, and were easy to add to my growing puppy’s chain link collar—bigger puppy than expected! I had to fiddle with the links a bit, taking off, putting back on, and I’m happy to report that it’s easy to add or remove a link, and doesn’t require instructions. I don’t have very strong grip strength, so if I can handle them, almost anyone else should be able to do so, as easily. Reasonably priced. I am impressed at how effective the collar is, at keeping my puppy on “heel.” The trick is to hold the leash straight up, when standing or walking next to your dog. Mine—a Heinz 57 breed with Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, Chow Chow and Golden Retriever making up 90% of his genes, was 8 months old, when I got him, and he’s quite strong, so this collar is really great to use! I signed up for individual training for him immediately, and this is the collar recommended and introduced for me to use by my trainer. A collar of this type should be used while working with the dog, and removed, for best safety practice, when the dog is loose and not closely supervised. Even a canvas dog collar can be caught in a fence, and result in the injury or death of a dog. I’ve known of this happening, with an Alaskan puppy I sold to another dog musher. So I’m speaking from first-hand knowledge. Many breeders, with lots of dogs in kennels, remove collars while their dogs are kenneled and unattended. This, of course, works best with strong, well fenced, well-maintained kennel fencing. We all know what escape artists some dogs can be!

Fit into our existing big name brand prong collar great. Have used these links for more than a few years and they have held up. Very safe and have not broken or gave any reason to be concerned. Great for control during walks. Added these links and subtract them as the dog puts on weight or loses lbs from our walks!

These work perfect for what I intend to use then for. They are sturdy and strong....and worked well with another collar of the same size links.

These worked very well. They fit perfectly. Yes it took a little strength and ingenuity, to get the links into the collar, but so do the original links that came with the collar. That is the way the links are designed so that they don't separate when you are walking the dog. I need 2 links, but I got 4 just incase my doggy hasn't stopped growing. The product came in right one time. The transaction was effortless. I would do business again if I have to. I recommend this product and this company.

I just wanted to say that these prong extra pieces are actually awesome. I’m giving it a five star even though I had to return mine because it was the wrong size but these are great. They look exactly the same as the originals. I just wish they would put it in inches like all of America in Canada understands instead of the MM. lol

Didn’t fit perfectly but it did fit with a bit of wiggling. Much easier and less expensive than buying a new collar
