My cat got himself into this cat cave before I managed to put the cushion inside. Cats' love for boxes is a known thing, still, this cat bed has an amplified attractiveness factor. It is well made, and you can set it up in seconds (side creases from folding felt fade after a few days). I did put an extra blanket inside (my thinking is a blanket will be easier to wash), but it is not necessary and my cats had no objections to getting in even without the cushion supplied. it is neat and fits IKEA furniture perfectly. As I have two cats, I had to get two PiuPet beds. They are a bit more expensive than other cat caves, but I wanted a product with a good finish and sturdy, thick felt. I am pleased to say this is what I got.

Fantastic cats jumped straight in :)

Bought for ferrets not a cat. Decent price and Flash seems to like it, it just pops up and you pop in a little cushion for a bit of comfort, I will also be adding extra blankets during cold days. Fits perfectly in kallax units. Hopefully it will last through the ferrets life time. *Update* Ferrets are too destructive to keep it looking as nice. Yes they like it but they had to add exits of their own at the back. They also occasionally feel it should be in the middle of the floor instead of in the unit (they still sleep in it there so I guess they wanted more air or something). But it's still usable yet.

I put this is in one of the cubbies in the Kallax unit we have on our landing. No one wanted the cat in their rooms at night because he makes it impossible to sleep and he'd meow and scratch up the carpets. Poor thing. So, I put this in with a small towel folded up to lie on, and within a couple of days he'd found it and was sleeping in it. "Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse". It was lovely. The novelty has worn off now but the night time behaviour has still calmed down. I'm sure he'll find his way back to it, as cats tend to do. I'm considering buying a couple more to dot about in a couple of other suitable pieces of furniture. Works far better than the radiator hammock. Both cats sniffed at it and never returned! What I like: ✅ Seriously looks good in the unit ✅ Great sized hole for the cat. Large enough to easily get in and out, but small enough to make them feel safe and cosy ✅ How much it helped to have another nook for the cats to find ✅ The packaging included funny and smart leaflet and branding info. It looked clear that the manufacturers knew and loved cats well. I can see that really appealing to cat lovers. What I don't like: ❌ It does seem quite a lot of money for what it is. The material is a little flimsy and the base is a little hard on its own ❌ A little picky, but it's not quite as deep as the unit, so it moves about a bit and gets pushed back when the cat uses it.

Good quality and fits ikea unit.

Fast delivery, easy to assemble as it opened up nicely. My cat, Yuki, showed interest as soon as it was up and went to sit inside immediately. However, since it’s delivery on 13th Dec, she’s used it only twice. I’m with her at home pretty much all day due to lockdown so I can tell where she is at any given time. Product recommendation: I would only recommend this cat bed if you’ve got a space where this car bed can fit snuggly so your cat feels safe to use it. As each cat has different preferences, I would suggest to let your cat decide whether it is a good investment or not regardless of whether you like it or not. The returns for this product is almost two months and mine is almost up but I’m going to give it a longer chance to be liked by my queen. I’ll update again if she uses it more in the next few months or during the warmer months. If not, I’ll just have to get rid of it. More on the product itself below. Sturdiness: It’s not really sturdy, slightly thinner than I expected so I wouldn’t really recommend it IF you’re looking for a strong and firm sides but if not then this cat bed will work. Also don’t put anything on top, better to put it under a side table or a chair or in your shelving unit. Doing so can help from making it move about when your cat/pet goes in it or brushes against it. Base pillow: My cat doesn’t like the bedding for some reason so I would suggest manufacturing to work on a more sturdier and more comfortable base pillow. Even though her claws are trimmed regularly, they still got stuck when she was kneading the base pillow. It doesn’t happen with the other materials. Warmth: I think if you’re home doesn’t have a cold draft, this is fine but it’s definitely not a winter bed. Though the material it’s made out of, it feels like it can keep warmth in. Though I’m not sure as my cat haven’t used it often. During the night though, she prefers to sleep near me in my bed and during the day, she prefers the chair or the sofa to this cat bed. I wish she’d like this cat bed more considering the price of the product but what can I do? She’s a cat.

Easy to assemble and fits snug into an Ikea Kallax unit. As mentioned in other reviews - the cushions are not very soft or full but there are zips on them so you can put in more stuffing (I have added more wool and then wrapped a scarf around the outside). My cats love it especially when people are round and they need to feel secure whilst watching what's going on. I bought two but they only seem to use one at a time. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a unique additional cat bed.

This is an attractive colour and fits nicely into our ikea unit. It is, however, not of the same quality as boxes from ikea for the unit, and is rather flimsy and thin. The top of mine is a bit saggy as it has a rather poor structure, subsequently it doesn’t look as good as the picture. Not a bad purchase, but not of the quality I had hoped.

Sembra molto ben fatta. Il feltro del cubo è spessotto e consistente. Quello del cuscino, con cerniera, più sottile e morbido. L'imbottitura del cuscino non è gommapiuma, ma ovatta di poliestere, quella che i miei gatti amano, per dormirci quando fa freddo. Non ci giurerei, ma credo proprio sia possibile lavarla in lavatrice. Arriva piegata in una busta di plastica morbida ma consistente dotata di cerniera, per cui se in estate il gatto non la usa, si può facilmente riporre piegandola e mettendola di nuovo nella sua busta. Sulla parete opposta all'oblò c'è cucita uma maniglia, sempre di feltro. Ho 7 gatti e un cane. I gatti in estate disertano la casa, preferendo vagabondare nel bosco e dormire al fresco delle siepi. Ma in inverno entrano in casa. Hanno un divanetto tutto per loro e diverse ceste con cuscini e fodere di lana o di "pile". A loro piace cambiare ogni tanto, ma so che nelle notti più fredde gradiranno dormire acciambellati in questo "nido". Abbastanza grande da starci in due, o anche in tre. E abbastanza piccolo e con la porta piccola, da riscaldarsi piacevolmente, essendo anche di materiale isolante. Bisogna solo inserirlo in una scatola che fornisca "struttura" perchè da solo, se ci saltano sopra, schiacciano tutto. Ottimale per gli scaffali ikea per cui è stato pensato. Io che non li ho, inchioderò 5 pezzetti di legno a misura. Fuori penso di rivestire una parete della scatola con un pezzo di sisal per farsi le unghie e sopra fissare del "velcro" per trattenere un cuscino. Verrà una cuccia super!

Desde el primer día lo usa, aunq ha crecido y cree q la parte superior aguanta su peso...... Es la única pega, q al ser de tela, aunque rígida. Pues no se mantiene estable. Por lo demás, genial, xq es su sitio para que no la molesten. Es discreto, queda bien con la decoración y ella está en su hueco.

In eerste instantie moest hij er niets van hebben, maar inmiddels wel. Hij zoekt her vooral op als hij zich wil terugtrekken. Het materiaal lijkt stevig.

Article conforme à la description. Article très qualitatif et qui rentre parfaitement dans les cases des meubles Ikea kallax. Matière très douce et petit coussin sympa fourni avec. Nous avons simplement rajouté une petite converture. Il est deja adopté par le chat 🐱😁
