Wonderful a lovely feeling washing my hair with out horrible chemicals!

I stopped using this bar a while ago and now can’t remember why. So pleased I have started to use it again. Hair feels good, lasts a decent amount of time considering I just leave it on the shelf in the shower not in a pot, eco friendly, rinses out easily, good lather, nice fragrance.Nothing bad to say about it.

Thought I'd give this a try in an attempt to move away from chemicals in traditional shampoos. Took a bit of experimantation to get the hang of using a bar rather than a liquid. The trick is to wet the hair really thoroughly then to rub the bar all over the surface of the hair along the hair shaft. This enables a nice lather to be produced. After rinsing my hair felt squeaky clean. It also seemed to remove any previous residue that might have built up. Hopefully this product will prove to be a keeper.

It’s one of the best (if not THE best) solid shampoos I have ever try. My hair is so soft, clean, and generally my hair is very dry so this is perfect. Yesterday I did before my hair, a quick aloe Vera massage, so now my hair is super soft and shining. I usually wash my hair once or twice a week because this shampoo is absolutely fantastic and effective. Add a good conditioner and it’s done. Before it was available in Holland and Barrett but the company will not sell in uk anymore, so I hope I’ll be able to buy it on Amazon!

So here’s the skinny on these bars. I’ve tried the Healy Kiwi, Pinkalicious, Frizz Wrangler and St. Clements.Out of these, only the Frizz Wrangler is a formula hard enough to last a long time but I have a sensitive scalp and that one, along with the Pink one made me itch and have buildup 😕. I also didn’t care for the Pink color coming off on my loofah sponge, even though it washes away.Healy Kiwi was too textured and uncomfortable to use because the oat pieces caught on my hair and abraded my hand a bit.St. Clements is a breeze to use, has a light citrus smell that is somehow comforting, soothes my scalp, gives me enough body without frizz (I have fine wavy hair but a lot of it) and NO scalp buildup — the clear winner for me. My only gripe is that the formula is very soft, which makes it easy to spread on your hair, but only lasts about a month and a half for one person or a month or less for two people.All the bars smell good, though the Pink one smelled kind of off-putting to me, almost like playdough or something lol. They all lather nicely as well too.All in all, like this brand and the Wunderbar conditioner works perfectly for all the heads in my family (thick curly, coarse curly, fine wavy, medium curly) and lasts FOREVER.... like we’ve had the same bar for months now 👏🏼Also for people who are confused about the ingredients, the reason this shampoo bar works as nicely (if not better) than a regular shampoo is because it doesn’t have traditional soap ingredients in it, which yes, are more natural but also are NOT ph balanced or formulated correctly for hair. That’s why all the shampoo bars out there that have saponified soap don’t work well and strip your hair, which is incredibly harsh.I’ve researched the ingredients in these bars extensively and though they’re not the most natural option out there, they have a good rating on EWG so far. And I’m SUPER sensitive to sulfates and other chemical preservatives and the St. Clements does not irritate my scalp the way almost everything else I’ve tried does.

My daughter in London introduced me to this product and I am continuing to use it now that I'm back in the USA. I am trying to reduce packaging waste, which is why I was originally interested in this shampoo. But, it works really well and I'm very pleased with how soft my hair is, such that conditioner isn't necessary. It both lathers and rinses easily. Lastly, it is cruelty-free, a winner all around.

This shampoo is simply the best. Been using for years. Don’t even need conditioner which suits my zero waste plastic free life.

About 4 months ago, I started having a terrible reaction to something but could not figure it out. It lasted for about 3.5 months because I could not figure out what was causing it. I had not added anything new to my skincare, food, or home life. I was baffled. A few weeks ago a friend told me about this awesome shampoo bar she was using. She told be about how eco-friendly it is which motivated me to give it a try. Upon receipt, I began using it almost immediately. Within 3 days, the reaction I had been having was gone! Turns out it was my old shampoo. I am no longer itching like I was. What a great discovery! I have since purchased the bar for kids which is great, the bar for dogs which is also great, the face sampler which I am still making my way through, and my favorite is the conditioner bar (The Guardian).This particular shampoo bar (Pinkalicious), is not my favorite smell in the world. It is an interesting combination of grapefruit and vanilla, but it is not overpowering or repulsive or anything. In fact, I don't mind it because the benefits are amazing. It is SO easy to use and I can tell it will last a long time. If you buy it, make sure to keep it out of running water like they say, or it will be gone sooner than it should. The only real complaint I have is that my hair has been full of static. I did find a way to solve that, though! I just use The Guardian conditioner bar, which smells amazing, and it is fine.I will try to update this review in a few months and add any other changes.
