KEEN Men's Newport Closed Toe Slip on Slide Sandals

Bought this pair of Keen slip on sandals to replace a worn out pair. Slight changes from older Keen’s. New pair is good quality and fits like older pair. Very satisfied with purchase.

Good quality product, but this type of sandal just didn't work me, so I returned them and found something.

The reviews stating that this model of Keen slip on shoes runs small are accurate. I found that out the hard way. I am a 9.5 EE shoe wearer. I bought the 9.5 size in this Keen shoe and they were too small, my heel stuck out past the back of the shoe and I got the sense they would slip off. I went up 1/2 size and they fit much better. They are also a bit narrow but the lacing allows the shoe to be loosened up to accommodate wider feet like mine. Without that feature, I would have sent these back again. When the fit is correct, this pair of Keens are comfortable, offer toe protection (or cover if you need that), are easy to slip on, wipe off with a damp cloth and are very durable. I like these shoes but I’ll never understand why sizing can vary - it’s a known specification. Build the shoe to that size spec and avoid all the consumer screwing around ordering, trying them on and discovering they run small. I like Keen durability and build quality, these are versatile slip ons and they offer good support with the proper fit. They are too expensive at full retail and I only buy them on sale.

Nice that some companies still make a quality item

It's odd that we call this type of sandal a slide, because while we want to slide right in, we certainly don't want it to slide right off. I tried five different sandals before I settled on the these. You can slide right in, but between the webbing and contoured sole, the shoe does a decent job of staying on while you walk. You can't treat them as equal to a shoe with a heel of course, but they are pretty versatile for what they are. If you've ever bumped your toe wearing traditional sandals and want to avoid that again, these are perfect.

I bought these to replace an old Keen slide in that the bottom wore out. These do not fit as well nd I am constantly tapping my toes to push the shoe on more comfortably. They are the correct size but don’t feel as secure as my other Keens sandals. I wear them when I am walking around a campsite, but not if I am going walking on a trail.

Good slide sandals, but seem to run a bit small. I've worn size 11 in various Keen shoes and sandals over the years, but ended up sending the size 11 back and exchanging for 11.5. Not a huge difference, but enough to ensure they'll be comfortable in the winter with socks. Wish Keen still made an open-toe slide with their adjustable bungee cinch, but these are comfortable and supportive and will be my go-to sandals for around the house. Should last for a few years. Just what I've come to expect from Keen.

I have many pairs of keens and have been happy with each. These are by far the worst fitting, sized sandal I have ever purchased. I thought I would keep them in the hope they would work out. Unfortunately, they just get worse. The sizing is off and I noted this when I purchased. Normally a ten but bought a 10.5. I struggle to get my foot in and when I do walk they slip back out. I have broken these in and this has not helped. Hard to get on but then when you walk your heel runs about an inch out the back of the sandal (looks like they are too small when you walk in them but looks almost too large just putting them on. I don't know but thy are the worst for whatever reason.

Very heavy and slippery. Not Suitable for wet floors

Llevo gastadas muchas newport y al final siempre acabo con ellas de sandalia,estas me gustan mucho son iguales de calidad pero ya con formato sandalia,no les doy cinco estrellas porque no comprendo porque son mas caras

These fit more snug than the previous model, and the foot bed is shorter by 1 size.

Son unas sandalias que están bien hechas en cuanto a su terminado y realmente son cómodas y ajustan bien ; aunque recomiendo pedirlos medio número más ya que si las pide uno a su medida quedan justos , pero los materiales son de mucha calidad y la puntera protege bien el dedo gordo sin preocuparse de cualquier accidente al caminar, correr o ir en bicicleta : me gustan mucho y estan muy bien !!
