Abaodam Resin Sphinx Figurine Desktop Ornament Egyptian Statue Tabletop Adornment for Home Office Decor Ancient Egyptian Collectible

My 7 year old son has always been fascinated with Egyptian history and mythology, and is also now studying it at school, so I picked this up for him and he loves it - goes great with the mini sarcophagus we picked up from the British Museum last month. It's good quality, nicely detailed on all sides. At 10CM tall, it's just the right height that he can admire it, without it taking up a lot of space on his small shelf of random bits & bobs. It's resin-based, so not too weighty, it won't crush your toes if it's dropped, nor should it break. Not bad for £5!

I'm thrilled with this resin figurine. It's reasonably detailed and well-painted. I originally planned to use it as a desktop ornament, but I've found an even better use for it: as a deluxe first player marker for one of my favourite games, Valley of the Kings - a strategic card game set in ancient Egypt, where players compete to build the most glorious tomb.
