The batteries charge with a common USB Type C cable. Actual charger is not included, but a cable is. Just use any USB port.

I don't have a 5g capable phone yet so si a 5g phone required to connect and operate this drone?

The HS720G connects to the wifi of your phone. The drone is capable of sending and receiving at the 5G rate. If your phone is 4G the transmit & receive will be slower and maybe less responsive and have a shorter range. How much I can not say but it will perform all the features and you still have control of the drone. Additional information can be gotten from their support online.
