I’ve been using this Teflon tape for a few shower head installs, and it worked without any issues. The size is standard. The 1/2 inch width fits well on most household plumbing threads, and the length is enough to last through multiple jobs. The ease of use is great. It wraps cleanly around threads and doesn’t tear easily while applying. The sealing performance is solid. Once applied, it creates a tight seal and I didn’t have any leaks. Works very well on all my shower attachments with threading. I have zero issues with leaks. I’m no plumber and just a regular schmo…not very handy at all. So, if I can do it I can almost guarantee you can apply this tape around the threads of your shower attachments, etc. The tape is extremely versatile, thin and light. I recommend wrapping the tape all the way around the threads 2-3 times and you should be good to go. If you feel the wrap wasn’t done well the 1st time, or you still have a leak, you can easily remove it and start over. I’m glad I purchased this tape, and does the job perfectly for me.

This is good, standard Teflon tape. Wraps cleanly, sticks well without tearing, and seals threads as it should. The width is perfect for most household plumbing and HVAC connections, and having multiple rolls is convenient to keep on hand. No issues with leaks once applied properly. This Teflon tape is basic, but it works exactly how I needed it to. I used it for a shower head/plumbing thread connection, and the sealing was good once I wrapped it properly. The stickiness is more like normal PTFE tape, so it grips enough while wrapping but doesn’t leave a messy residue. Very nice quality. Needed to replace a shower arm and it came with free tape that was so thin it would just tear and fall to pieces and couldnt get it to stop dripping. This tape first try easy peasey application and 0 leaks

However, it's important to note that this tape is much thinner than the typical Teflon tape you might be used to. This thinness means it requires more wraps around pipe connections, which could be a bit tricky in tighter spaces. Due to its slim profile, the tape doesn't hold its shape as easily as thicker alternatives. Additionally, each spool is smaller compared to standard 260" rolls of Teflon tape. Even though these rolls are labeled as 520" in length, their thinness effectively reduces the amount of tape you're getting. When you consider the extra wrapping needed to achieve a good seal, it's more akin to having 180-200" of standard-thickness tape. Despite these characteristics, the price point remains a significant advantage. These 5 rolls come at a lower cost than a single roll of brand-name Teflon tape. For someone looking to save money on basic plumbing tasks, putting in a few extra turns of tape is a reasonable compromise.

Seems to work fine. Used in all plumbing in the bathrooms. Not sticky, easy to wrap your shower head to seal it. Compatible with all small plumbing.
