Review: Hand splint - Recently had surgery of my hand, and I feel that the hospital splint is a bit basic so wanted something with more support for the next 6 months. Review: It works and is comfortable to wear. - My husband loves it. Symptoms decrease when worn consistently every night. Easy to set up, donn and doff. He developed three trigger fingers on his right hand. So far he has avoided a hand surgeon visit!

Multi-finger/hand splint works wonders
Vive Trigger Finger Splint - 2 Finger Brace for Middle, Index, Pinky, or Ring Fingers - Adjustable Hand and Wrist Support - Straightening Immobilizer for Broken Fingers, Arthritis, and Contractures Official description is "two" finger brace, but as you can see in my photos, I needed and used it as a three finger brace. I broke everything while on travel and took a week to get back home and see the doctor. I didn't want a plaster cast and had to wait a few more days for this to come in the mail. There is nothing offered like this, not even the medical supply stores over near the hospital. It offers support and immobilization which my hand needed. I've gotten good with typing and doing so much more with my left hand while my right hand has been healing. It's been longer than the doctor said it would take bones to heal in a cast, but I take it off any do things ALL the time, so that is on me. It is also why I did not want a cast... I don't like to drive wearing this split, but thank goodness I can take it off to drive and put it back on when I get to my destination. I think in all this time, I've only worn it once or twice at night, and never the whole way through the night because in general I don't like things on while I sleep (can't keep socks on either). If you are hurt or injured, especially if it is your hand and/or multiple fingers, then you need this. There are lots of single finger splits, but this will hold multiple fingers. It would even hold all four of my fingers, but I needed it for my last three fingers. The two center fingers have healed the best, but my pinky finger that was more hurt does still hurt. I'm wearing this splint still to any function like church and work where I think people will want to shake my hand as my right hand isn't yet up to doing handshakes. I'm very pleased with how well this splint has held up appearance wise as well. It's about two months old now in the photos I just took this morning, and it looks brand new. My pinky finger is over an inch shorter than the finger next to it, but the wide bands keep it in place. My short pinky finger's tip tucks under the upper band, but if even just the lower band held it, that little finger would have been just as secure. I took a photo with the top band hanging open so you can see my fingers, and then I took a photo trying to do a fingertip shot. Healing is painful and I am not a patient person. This splint has successfully gotten me thru the worst of it all and kept me able to drive (a cast I wouldn't have been able to drive these past 2 months - can't even put a key in ignition wearing splint or cast much less 2 hands securely on the steering wheel LOL!) If you've hurt your hand and multiple fingers, this is for you!!

Helps alleviate numbness at night.
Works well to keep my hand and fingers immobile. My fingers are stiff in the morning, but it does seem to help alleviate the numbness I was experiencing at night. The velcro can be scratchy, so I actually put a sock over it.
