These timers are pretty basic, but were just what I needed for a coffee shop application where simplicity and ease of use is needed. The display is minutes/ seconds, two digits each, so it has a maximum of 99 minutes, 59 seconds. Countdown from an entered time or countup from zero is easily done. The timer can be set up with the hinged clip to stand it up on a counter, or the magnet on the clip can be used to hold the timer to a metal surface. There's also a hinged hanger on the clip to hang the timer from a hook/ screw/ nail. The magnet is strong enough to hold the timer securely, but not too strong to make it difficult to relocate. The display is large (1-7/8 x 3/4") with clear to read black numbers. The AAA battery holder is secure. When the timer goes off, either an audible alarm or a small blue LED light will be triggered. The interface is simple with three-button with MIN, SEC, and START/STOP. To clear the timer, press the MIN and SEC buttons simultaneously. Overall, this looks to be a good general timer with an intuitive interface and looks fairly rugged.

I am fairly impressed with these timers! I love that I can turn the beeper off when I said it and then turn it back on when I start it. But too many times, I have either been gone when a timer goes off or it's too far away and I didn't hear it. This one I can clip right onto my clothing and it goes with me everywhere I go! It is plenty loud enough to be heard and it's fairly easy to set.

This timer has quite a few issues for how simple it is. 1. It beeps for every minute/second you add, even if you hold the buttons, which is quite annoying. You can turn the beeping off, but it also turns the alarm off. 2. There is no support on the back, so you can't press the buttons while it's stuck to something using the magnet. 3. THE WORST PART - It turns itself off occasionally, almost like it's going to sleep because of inactivity, making it not perform its only function of being a timer.

My 7 year old daughter is autistic and obsessed with numbers. She loves playing with this timer. I say this because she is super rough with it, like throws it across the room, and the timer still works. During these instances the battery and the battery cover will pop off but they go back on easily. The magnetic piece has also popped off but will snap back on no problem. I love how there's an option to turn the beeping sound off. It's not super loud but it can get annoying when your child repeatedly presses the buttons. The quality of these timers is excellent! Great value.

The timer works well. Simple to use. The magnet and stand are junk. If put on the refrigerator, the slightest touch will knock it off. Once it hits the floor, the battery cover pops off and the battery rolls away. The stand breaks off and the spring flys who knows where. Never use the magnet and it will be adequate.
