Review: Easy to Read, Easy to Apply - This book reminded me that communication and financial well-being are more connected than people realize. The ideas felt practical, realistic, and focused on everyday habits that quietly shape long-term outcomes. While reading, I kept thinking about how many of the same skills that improve communication also improve financial well-being. Self-awareness, understanding your environment, intentional decision-making, and learning how to navigate uncomfortable situations all matter in both areas. One thing I appreciated was that the book did not rely on unrealistic motivation. It focused more on mindset, consistency, and small choices over time. That made the message feel approachable and relevant. The biggest takeaway for me was that confidence, whether with money or communication, is usually built gradually through preparation, observation, and repeated practice. This was a thoughtful and easy-to-follow read for anyone trying to build stability, confidence, and better everyday habits. Review: Perfect for beginners - I knew nothing about financial literacy, but this book has been immensely helpful. If you want to learn financial literacy but donโt know where to start, this is the book for you!

Excellent Financial Tips!!
This book goes beyond just the basics of savings/checking accounts and credit cards. It teaches you a mindset to help you have financial security throughout your lifetime. Many books geared toward the younger crowd don't look that far ahead or even mention retirement. It offers one of the best pieces of advice I've ever heard anywhere, which took me too long to learn. - Pay yourself first! - The chapter on budgeting is helpful as it provides a few different ways of budgeting and different strategies to pay off debt. One good tip in this chapter is to spend less on fees, for example, I have always thought it ridiculous to pay a fee to use a credit card as so many cards have no annual fees. The author also advises to shop second hand if possible. I know so many people hate the idea, but you would be amazed at the great items that people get rid of for next to nothing. Overall, this a great book with excellent ideas!

Literacy before it's too late
It's never too late to be financially literate-- Small steps like an emergency fund, starting a retirement account, etc are only a few things that can help you in the long-term with your finances. For those who don't feel they are in the know on how to , it can be overwhelming. This book is about how to make the most of what you've got, and how to transmute a bad situation into a good one. This also covers how budgeting isn't a punishment or restriction but it's a means of creating a mindset and way of living that keeps you aligned with your goals (short and long term) but still able to indulge in the 'now'. It's about finding out the strategy that works for you in order to get your goals going-- and this book is great for helping you find what does work for you. With the right tools in your box, the only thing that is stopping you, is you.

Chosen Advice
At times this book could seem a bit misleading, but after some thought, I realize that some things are just suggestions or given options. It's a choice if one wants to accept or dismiss the advice given. The format is written for those who may have a short attention span, in other words its a easy read. But overall it's a decent book and I HIGHLY recommend it for those getting ready to graduate from high school!

Great reference book for grandson
Since the book is a gift, I only know what my 17 year old grandson tells me about it. He is a reader and a money saver. He tells me the book has been helpful in understanding his options for his savings. A quick read for a person who has no idea about his financial options

Excellent beginners finance guide
10/10. A little bit of stuff in this book many may know as it can be common sense. But Raman articulates is very well and easily to comprehend that it helps one apply it to their life vs just knowing it. With that being said there is much I learned and immediately helped me gain control of my spending habits, budgeting, and investing into my financial future. If you are in college. Read this book

Investing in your future
I wish I had this book when I was young, or someone to teach me how to save. I'm trying to teach my oldest grandson who just started working. This book is an excellent source for helping you save. It lists ten money habits to have financial security without giving up the things you like. You have to have the right mindset and realize you don't stay young forever. The thing is you need to create a budget and stick with it. If you go to school there are ways around a student loan, don't get caught up in that. You can use your money wisely and invest, that way you will have something to fall back on.
