I was a little skeptical that this would hold up to a lot of sanding that we do around the house. We are repainting woodwork and 29 doors - a lot of sanding. I though I would try this instead of buying a palm sander. It works great in my DeWalt mulit tool. The quality went beyond my expectations. I wanted a DeWalt branded sanding pad, but this is all I could find on Amazon. Glad I bought it and would buy again if I need a new one. One caveat - I used it to sand sheet rock taping compound today and had a hard time keeping the edges from digging into the material. After I messed up two joints I went back to sandpaper and elbow grease. Not sure what was going on. The pad is much harder than my velcro Dremel pad. I just couldn't seem to keep it flat to prevent gouging. Of course on harder material it likely won't make a difference. Also, the DeWalt tool I was using is new to me and much heavier than the Dremel. It will take some getting used to. If not, I'll buy a palm sander for the jobs I was going to use the DeWalt on.
