Sorted my problem within 24 hours

Well made very strong traps. I have been using mole tunnel traps for years and decided to change. Very pleased I did. There is an excellent YouTube video showing how to find a run, open the run, set the trap, place the trap in the run. I have 100% catch rate. Check the trap at least once a day, be patient. Make sure you wear old gloves so that Mr Mole can’t smell humans.

The key is to set the trap up properly. With gloved hand make tunnel smooth and debris free so it's "moley". Locate tunnel with a long screwdriver, poking it in to soil, you will feel the tunnel as it goes through soil easily. Do this a foot or so after a fresh mole hill. Dig hole big enough to get trap in. Locate the set trap on straight tunnel, not a bend or three way junction. Have the trigger flap just slightly on the pin so it will go off without much effort, back fill a small amount of fine soil around the trigger so as it's pushing the dirt out the way it hits the trigger. Gently cover with the turf and the some more top soil to cut out any light entry from above entering tunnel. Wear gloves and don't put hands in the trap area when set! ( Watch some YouTube videos for tips) caught a mole within 3hrs of setting up the trap 👍

i caught every mole i had with these and its all in the set up, first wear rubber gloves when touching the trap and soil. 2nd find a mole hill in current use and dig a small square out ( don't make the hole to big as they will dig around the trap)... your looking for a run that is fairly straight not one that goes off at 90 degrees in the hole so you have to feel around the dug out square for his small tunnel . when you place the trap in the hole you want the trigger catch sitting level with the mole run hole about 2/3 high on his small tunnel so he has to brush against it to get past. dont place it too low or to high if its too low add more soil back. 3rd once set carefully add soil back around trap so he has to push the soil up to get past and nocks the trigger. 4th put a bucket over the trap to keep it dark. this method worked for me if only failed when i made the dug hole too big it has to be the bare minimum size to fit the trap

on natural methods, garlic, castor oil, cayenne pepper, juicy fruit chewing gum last year, I called out a mole catcher whole caught one mole and charged £150. This year after trying a few natural options again, I tried the poisonous worms. Planted 10 in my small patch of 6m x 6m grass, no luck. So I turned my thoughts to catching it myself, bought 3 of these and after 3 days the poor thing was caught. Sad as it is, I can now turn my attentions to repairing my poor grass... great purchase and I have them for next time.

I purchased these instead of the more professional ones on a gamekeeper style site which was a big mistake. I also didn't look at them or unpack them till to late to return. These traps have very poor quality springs that will probably not kill humanely the better traps come with a setting tool as you can't exert enough pressure to set them without the tool i set this with one hand. These traps are poor quality and as such I'd rather bin them than have an animal suffering. The moles have to go but only if it's a quick kill.I have bought more professional traps and mole problems are sorted .

Après fait d'énormes dégâts dans la pelouse (grosses taupinières), j'ai fini par mettre un piège. Dommage que je ne l'ai pas mis plus tôt. Heureuse, la taupe a été attrapée. J'ai remis le piège au cas où elle aurait d'autres congénères. J'était septique mais cela fonctionne vraiment (voir 2 photos).

J'ai posé 3 types de pièges différents et comme il y avait peu de tunnels actifs, j'ai décidé de les placer tous pour voir lequel obtiendrait la taupe (j'ai dû les déplacer pendant 3 jours). BINGO, celui-ci a attrapé la taupe. La gâchette permettant d'activer les ciseaux n'est pas sur le chemin, mais elle se déclenche et les mâchoires sont puissantes et suffisamment écartées pour que, si une taupe pénètre dans le tunnel....☠️ Très bonne construction, ressort puissant et gâchette sensible... portez des gants. Je recommande fortement

Although I am completely against killing, I had to make a tough choice.... Tried everything, from electronic sonic repellers, tabs with repelling smells, homebrew stuff... you name it. And the mole kept coming back or never left. My garden and crops were being ravaged and that signified both money, time, and looks... after more than 3 years trying to chase it away I was left with the less "humane" solution and I had to hunt it. That being said, I was able to catch it with this trap on the first try... It needs some careful setting up, meaning, you need to choose an in-use tunnel, use gloves to avoid contaminating the place with your smell, and place it in a way where it is not blocked and it will easily trigger. If you do that, 1-2 days and your problem is solved. I just hope it will take a while for another mole to settle...
