This says a clamp is not needed, but what stops it from moving when you drill? Does it have surface you can use to clamp it to the cupboard?

You do not use a clamp and there is not really a place for one. Once you have the jig set up it just sits in place, I just hold it in place with my left hand and drill with my right. There are lugs which you need to set up initially, they set the distance in and up for the jig, once set all the handle s will be set in the same place on every door whether it is left or right. you will need to change the jig if you are drilling drawers instead of doors. this jig is meant for a lot of repetative work not worth the bother for one or two but it is a great piece of kit.

Does this item include all the pictured items? Carry case? TP-ERA Ruler? And the TP-ERA Bracket? The one I received did not include these items?

No it does not. I receive an incomplet set. Ordered the missing parts from US and amazon said will return a part o f the loss. Be sure you check before what are you receiving....
