Yes, there should be instructions. I have lost mine thou. To switch the clippers on there is a clear button at the top of the handle. This also doubles up as a charging light with the connection to recharge the clippers.

Came exactly as described, works fine so far, for a tenner certainly cannot complain. Lovely looking machine. Only con is it feels rather light HOWEVER the construction is a full metal case and as previously stated looks lovely so my nit pick is more of a preference thing rather than a product problem. Overall very happy with my purchase

Brilliant trimmer. Looks amazing and is very powerful despite it's size. The battery lasts for a very long time, and charges with standard USBC cables/charger plugs so it's super easy to top-up. It's now my favourite shaver.
