After 2 applications, the descale light remained on. However, this maybe a problem with the coffer maker itself. I did see that the solution was clearer after the second use.

I rinsed the machine tens of times and still I can feel the taste .. this is useless.. i had to make like 20+ cups of coffee and throw it until i had the coffee taste normal without the chemical taste of the product Again this is useless. Just rinse your machine periodically and you'll not need and chemicals

Best descaling solution and price is also reasonable

This is my second pack of this descaler for my bean-to-cup coffee machine, and I think it’s excellent. You get four doses in the pack, which is advertised as a year’s supply, although that obviously depends on how often you use your machine. I descale my machine every time the descale light comes on. I’m not actually sure how often that is, but I’ve written the date down this time so I can keep track. It’s very simple to use. The most difficult part is probably peeling off the leakproof seal on the bottle! Once opened, you simply pour half the bottle into the water reservoir and run the descale cycle. My machine slowly pumps it through over several minutes, with pauses where the solution sits inside the machine before continuing the cycle. I then refill the reservoir with clean water once, and the machine completes the rinse cycle. I tend to collect the water in a pint glass and keep an eye on it so it doesn’t overflow as the machine empties. I then pour it into my kettle, so the remaining descaling solution also descales my kettle at the same time. I normally buy a dedicated kettle descaler, but I’ve found this works brilliantly, and I’ve actually been more impressed with it. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone with a bean-to-cup coffee machine. I also use the same brand’s cleaning capsules that go through the grinder to remove oily coffee residue, and I’d recommend those as well. I originally bought them by mistake thinking they were descaling tablets, but they’ve turned out to be a really useful companion product to use alongside the descaler. Overall, this is easy to use, effective, and great value for money.
