PMLAND 1 X Roll of 100 Yards Lift Shade Cord 0.9 mm - White

Used to repair/replace blind cords chewed by my cat. Works wonderfully.

This is the correct cord for Hunter Douglas shades. I would not use anything else.

I learned to repair my own cellular blinds because local repair was dwindling and became too expensive. Just looked up the instructions on YouTube.

Ordered this to replaced broken cord in blind. Strong and smooth, was good cord but it unfortunately was the wrong thickness and as such cannot be used since blinds rely on the spring clamp to hold them up. This cord was not same thickness as the other cords so the clamp would not fully pinch this cord when the other cord was also in the clamp. It could be used if the cord was for the blinds to shut open or close, but not to raise or lower the whole blind, not unless cords for both sides were the same width if that makes sense. Otherwise cord seems a good value.

The original cord broke. I wrapped the original cord around a pencil 10 times and measured it to span 7/8" on the pencil so I knew I needed 0.9mm cord. Ordered this and when it came I took down the old shade, sat down and got to work paying close attention on how the original cord was strung. Took some patience but was all very straight forward. After I got it all re-strung I re-hung the shade and wa-la! Good as new again. Cost much less than buying a new shade!

This cord is prone to twisting and doesn't last very long. I repaired two blinds with it and they both broke after about one year.

Using measure method as suggested for thickness were exact. Well made easy to work with. Recommend

I had to replace some string in a Pella window and this worked great.

Las persianas fueron instaladas hace 20 años y casi todas, 14 en total, tenían los hilos rotos o desgastados, lo que impedía su buen funcionamiento. Había cuartos en los que ya no se levantaban las persianas por que ya no se podía. Por arreglarlas el técnico de Hunter Douglas cobraba 400 pesos por persiana. Saque usted las cuentas. Por el costo de reparación de una persiana, con este hilo repare las 14 y todavía me quedó casi medio rollo. Batallé con las primeras dos persianas, pero después de ver varios videos de reparación en YouTube, perfeccione la técnica y en un fin de semana las repare todas. Este hilo es del mismo calibre que el original de Hunter Douglas y, hasta ahora, parece igual de resisstente.

I used this product to replace two cords on a Hunter Douglas Duette cellular/honeycomb blind after unsuccessfully testing the less expensive Cheriswlery brand purchased on Amazon. The PMLAND cord is vastly superior for this application, as it has no noticeable stretch or elasticity. A week after installing it, the blind is still hanging squarely and there is no twisting or entangling of the cords, as was apparent with the Cheriswelry brand within less than a day. The blind operates as smoothly as it did with the original Hunter Douglas cord, which is difficult to source in Canada and sells at a price about per foot ten times greater than this product. Online videos illustrate the straightforward process for restringing HD cellular blinds, of which we have 12 in our home. This roll will provide sufficient material to eventually do them all, as the original 25 year old cords fail over time.

I used this to re-string my Hunter Douglas Duette blinds. I think the blinds move smoother now than when I first bought them. I previously tried a different product from Amazon, but it was slightly thicker and was a bit stretchy and failed several times.
