I have LED strip lights that I mounted under the cabinets in my kitchen for some extra countertop lighting, roughly 40 feet in total. Originally I was using the power and control units that came with the lights, but just one wouldn't do the job, and multiple ones were hard to get every string to operate together smoothly. I purchased this unit to run all of my led strips through, and power them with a 12v 30a power supply, and so far it's working great. No flickering, or funny stuff.

I ordered 3 of those controllers and 2 of them worked just fine but the third one would not respond to the remote and the hot and ground wires were reversed so they had to be connected backwards on the battery which powered the controller lighting up the LED but the remote still wouldn't work so I sent that controller back to exchange for a working one and they sent me a new one DOING THE EXACT SAME THING as the one I sent in. it would be nice if these SELLERS were reachable directly to deal with any PROBLEMS with their products, now I have to send this controller back and unless there is some way of getting the seller to TEST the new controller before sending it out to me I may have to try something different ( it's really screwing up my project) because the 18 amp controller's were exactly what I needed

this is a way better replacement for my rgb driver. the white cheap plastic one was melting and this thing never gets hot and is in an aluminum housing. if you're looking to replace the cheap plastic ones this is the one for you. ill be ordering like 10 more to replace ALL my other ones. only complaint if you would call it is that the dc input didn't work for me no matter what transformer i used. so just cut the ends and wired it in instead. like i said not really a complaint. I'd highly recommend to buy.

The buttons do random things, but not what is intended. Pressing red changes the colors to a white blue, pressing blue makes the lights yellowish green… and colors are not vibrant or bright. It’s nice to have the RF control… but the module makes the lights somewhat dim… possibly not enough output.

In a time when many automotive products come with a Bluetooth app that makes your setup vulnerable to any one else with an led app, this remote control unit is brighter, easier functionality and safe from others Bluetooth apps that don’t work correctly half the time.

I like the build a solid metal box. I also find it fascinating that it changes colors or even modes after 5, 10 or even 30 minutes. White and bright and the box is barely warm tho it soon will change to another color. I think it could add a bit of paranormal to the mode then the unexpected would be the norm. I have ordered another as I do like the build tho I would like a lower light fade and the defined color buttons seem a little off.
