Nice combo knife
Love the little tent puller combo. Seller was prompt on delivery. Everything was as mentioned. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again from this seller.

Trusty Gerber Tool
I have several Gerber tools and they all function perfectly -- the Stake Out has just the right tools for camping

This should be much better
The knife came with a nick in the blade. The blade has vertical play when locked. The construction and tension of the slip joint of the scissors don't play well together and it's easy to get your hand punched pretty bad between the two when deploying. The tent stake puller thing is redundant and a waste of space/weight: there's a carabiner on this thing, that can be used almost as effectively for the same task. Somehow the tip of the awl came sharper than any of the saw's teeth so I can't recommend the saw. The tweezers almost fit right but not quite and come loose too easily. There's no pocket clip and I feel that would've been a better use of space than the stake puller, at least I would use that redundancy. Blade also suffers from the typical Gerber design or being very tight, you're never gonna flick the blade out without modifying the tool yourself. Both the function and feel of the tool have been compromised for very little reason. An updated version of this tool with a better blade design, more reliable locks, more consistent tolerances, a pocket clip instead of a stake puller, a saw that is actually functional, and a better slot for the tweezers would make this worth it. Until then, this is overpriced at best and woefully designed at worst. I cannot recommend a Gerber Stakeout in its current form

Good tool, Sharp sturdy knife, scissors, puller. Blah casing.
Build Quality The tool is well built for the most part. It has good quality blades, and tools. The folded sheet metal design of the casing is sturdy it just look underwhelming considering the price - especially the asymmetric design of the how the casing wraps the carabiner ( see picture 3) Use: The tool has a great quality blade and scissors which is fortunate because they are fairly easy to open. The puller is sturdy works it however as well as some other tools (saw, awl) are more difficult to open but again, they aren't commonly used. The bottle opener carabiner is a great feature for storage. Surprisingly useful. I started using this as an EDC and never realized how handy it was to have a small built in ruler -- It comes in handy quite often especially for measuring small parts (screw lengths, tubing diameter, etc.) The awl tool comes in quite handy too especially for marking measurements. Final thoughts: While I didn't take any stars off the for the casing -- It may just be my personal taste but I think it could be better and otherwise the tool is top notch and I recommend it.

Just as nice as a Leatherman
Leatherman is usually the only brand of multi-tools that I buy, because they are very rugged and never break. But I took advantage of the chance to try this tool from Gerber because it has some features that I haven't seen in other multi-tools before. But example, the tent stake puller is very useful if you like to go camping. The removable tweezers are very handy as well, although if you're not careful it would be easy to lose them. But as far as the quality is concerned, this tool seem as rugged as a Leatherman to me. I will update this review later if I run into any issues with it in the future, but so far I am quite happy with this tool.

Dangerous! Buyer BEWARE!
I’ve owned about 50 multitools. I build and customize my own multitools as a hobby. Leatherman and Victorinox are easily my favorite, but I wanted scissors on a carabiner to supplement my Leatherman MUT. I love carabiner carry for the quick and convenient access and I’ve carried that way for many years with no issues. About a week or two after owning this Gerber multitool, I was playing with my dog. Just running around and wrestling when I felt a sharp pain. I immediately knew it was a knife due to that unique puncture feeling. I looked down and the knife on this completely deployed to the fully locked position just from me running around. While my finger took a nasty puncture, things could have been FAR worse. I went against my better judgment as I knew Gerber was awful with most of their products. This is no different and will go directly in the garbage. I won’t even gift it to another person as I don’t want their potential injury on my conscience. Buyer beware.

great for camping
If you camp, you need one of these. Multiple tools for multiple tasks all in a streamlined handle. Easy to hold and use. The tools are easy to pull out. I like the carabiner clip. Easy to attach to your backpack or belt loop. Highly recommended.
